Thanks for these photos. I was wondering how the head would look in hand.

This would look spectacular next to any other fine art.

Mine came with a little bit out and it was easy to pull out. Pushed it back in and discovered it had no easy way to remove it. I ended up using a spudger to get it out the second time.

Received my 1oz #81. Very difficult to get out of the holding case. Shame no ribbon underneath to lift it out…

I just got my 1oz yesterday and it was number 71. I love the look, but man that 5oz one is tempting for the size and nicer case.

They might have held some back for resellers. Those orders didn't come through and NZM sold the remainder.
Edit: Just my speculation, but I'll find out when I get my order.

Isn't it limited to 1984 units? Sold out in minutes prior.

Sorry to double post, but I noticed that the $115 1 oz. coin was back in stock.

Nice, so they used a folding wooden box for that version (I didn't notice it in the listings)! Not sure if the insert still can come out and has magnets to display in the box since it looks like it is just a filler to fit around the "coin". Also, dang that is fast since they still show it as "ships early April".

Got my 5oz coin this afternoon – the presentation is really great. The coin comes in a nicely painted wooden box with a velvet lining. It really does look stunning in person. I'm thinking I may display it in the box, but it also looks nice by itself!

.999 Silver will more than likely “ALWAYS” be worth something (in this case currently more than the note it is printed on) even if you scrap it:

Note that the official “denomination” of the coins is Niue dollars, not New Zealand dollars. Or Canadian dollars. Niue being the island nation with a population of 1000 which issues this novelty junk money.
