It’s time for our usual Transformers international sightings round up, courtesy of TFW2005 members all over the world. We have quite an active week this time. New Buzzworthy toy have showed up in Australia, Beast Wars reissues, Kingdom T-Wrecks and Rodimus have been spotted in Ireland, new Kingdom and Studio Series toys in Italy, Studio Series and Generations Selects Transmutate in Peru, new officially licensed merchandise in Russia, and to top it all, the highly anticipated Generations Selects Artfire & Nightstick has been found in Singapore.

Thanks to 2005 Board member shadow panther for giving us the heads up of his sighting of the new Buzzworthy Bumblebee Crash Combiners Primelock And Bumblegrim at US retail.

These figures were first found in Canada without any prior announcement, and now they were found at a Target in Milltown, New Jersey. Primelock is a new redeco of the RID Crash Combiners Optimus Prime & Grimlock 2-pack while Bumblegrim is a curious mix of a Crash Combiners Bumbleside Bumblebee redeco (originally packed with Sideswipe) with a blue redeco of the aforementioned Crash Combiners Grimlock.

under Robots in Disguise 201x, Transformers Sightings

The Buzzworthy Bumblebee line is sure full of unexpected releases. This time, thanks to Twitter user @CybertronBeast, we have our first images of the new Buzzworthy Bumblebee Crash Combiners Primelock And Bumblegrim.

These 2-packs were spotted at a Toys”R”Us in London, Ontario in Canada. Primelock is a new redeco of the RID Crash Combiners Optimus Prime & Grimlock 2-pack while Bumblegrim is a curious mix of a Crash Combiners Bumbleside Bumblebee redeco (originally packed with Sideswipe) with a blue redeco of the aforementioned Crash Combiners Grimlock.

A post in Mobile Monicker Productions Facebook brought us the sad news that Robots in Disguise 2001 Voice Actor Robert Axelrod (Movor) has passed Away. This was later confirmed via Robert Axelrod Official Facebook account.

While Mr. Axelrod was the voice of Movor in Robots in Disguise 2001 cartoon, he was a prolific voice actor with over 150 characters in many famous franchises including Wizardmon and Armadillomon from Digimon, and the legendary Lord Zedd and Finister from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

We offer our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. This is a sad week indeed for RID fans, since we had also known that another RID voice actor: Michael Lindsay (Skid-Z And Rollbar) had passed away.

Mr Michael Lindsay, who became part of the Transformers franchise as Skid-Z and Rollbar in Robots in Disguise 2001 cartoon, passed away last Saturday, according to several Twitter posts.

Besides his roles as the fast and cheerful Autobot Skid-Z and the serious Decepticon Rollbar, Mr. Linsay was known for his work in several anime series like Akira, Code Geass, Zatch, Naruto and Bleach. One of his most remarkable roles was as Joe Kido and Greymon in the original Digimon series. You can read more about his career on this article on Comicbook.com.

On December 19th, 2014, Hasbro released a brand new mobile game based on their [then] upcoming cartoon series Transformers: Robots In Disguise. The app may have not gotten a massive mainstream popularity, but it was a treasure trove of information for the fans of the show and the toyline. With frequent updates, the app gave animation model renders, 3D toy images and plot information well ahead of their official releases. Furthermore, the game was completely free of charge to download and featured zero in-app purchases and micro-transactions; something that is extremely rare in this day and age.

Alas, June 2019 is the sunset month of this wonderful mobile game app. Until June 30th, fans can download the app from Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iPhones/iPads/iPod Touch and Android devices respectively.

Transformers: Robots In Disguise mobile game received a quiet yet highly satisfied following thanks to the complete lack of micro-transactions and the offline nature of the game. The developer Marmalade Game Studio ensured that timely updates were pushed to each season of the show, updating with new information and characters to keep the fans satisfied. Thanks to its success, a spinoff game for Apple TV was also produced in 2016.

We are yet to see another app similar to RID. Although there was a plan for Transformers: The Last Knight which incorporated Tiny Turbo Changers, the idea was scrapped during its initial phase.

We thank Hasbro and Marmalade Game Studio for this outstanding app and hope to see another app in near future.

2005 Boards member Optimus4EVER is reporting in our forums some new Hallmark Evergreen & Robots In Disguise Sticker Sheets spotted At Walmart.

There are very economic and cool sets of stickers for kids to enjoy or maybe for a little Transformers detail on your personal books. The Evergreen sticker set contains 54 stickers (in 2 sheets) for only $4. The Robots In Disguise Sticker sheet brings you more than 70 stickers (6 sheets) plus 2 scene sheets for only $3.

We got some good news for Robots In Disguise fans in Australia. A new DVD release is coming with the Robots in Disguise: Combiner Force: Freedom Fighters DVD.

Via Stack Magazine Australia we can confirm that this new DVD release is scheduled for December 5th, 2018for only AUD $14.99 ($10.66). One interesting detail, revealed via the Sanity website, is that the total running time is 132 minutes which should be equating to 6 episodes. This should be the final Robots In Disguise DVD Australian release, bringing the final episodes of the series.

We got some good news for Robots In Disguise fans in Australia. A new DVD release is coming with the Robots in Disguise: Combiner Force – Combine And Conquer DVD.

Via Stack Magazine Australia, this new DVD release is scheduled for October 3rd, 2018. The total running time should be 154 minutes (around 7 episodes) similar to a previous Combiner Force DVD we had reported before.

Thanks to 2005 Boards member Jtprime17 for reporting in our forums the Brazil Exclusive Transformers Robots In Disguise Themed Truck Sets and other licensed products from Multibrink.

Brazilian toy company Multibrink, which make several licensed toys and products, have got the rights to produce Robots In Disguise products for Brazilian market. First of all, we have a complete line of 15 cm plastic trucks called “Roda Libre” (“Free Wheel”) with Robots In Disguise themed stickers, logos an decoration. Several models are available, including a Dump Truck and a Jet carrier. Curiously, it seems only Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are the only characters used for decoration.

These toys are aimed for little kids, and there are two other Robots In Disguise products on Multibrink site: An easel to help kids to write and draw, and a big wagon to bring more toys. Great for small RID fans.
