Aren't those the case of vintage boxed BW toys?
Pravus Prime
Sorry if I missed it, but where are the Hasbro 100 years Archive photos for Transformers? The Toyark says to check here and I can't seem to find them.
Hazuki
I keep thinking I'll eventually get over it but every time I see Mirage as a Porsche with blue stripes the more I miss Jazz :'<

Magnus is a pass for me. He looks good, but without a white Prime he's less than definitive and for $80 I'd rather not buy something that I'll have to swap out again in the future when he's done right. In fact, there's not really much in the reveals for me to get excited about. They all look good, but they're just not for me.
IgnikaMarcus
No. It actually doesn't.
Because you see, the cartoon is based on the toy.
And the original toy could do both!
Rojixus
All I see is an overengineered and overpriced Ultra Magnus.
C16
It's an Ultra Magnus, that looks just like Ultra Magnus. Better proportions than the last one, better articulation than the last one, more accurate alt mode than the last one and a functional alt mode at that. It does everything an Ultra Magnus should do. The other versions don't do these things nearly as well, and has an inner robot gimmick. It doesn't do other other things nearly as well because of that gimmick. Too much compromise.
So yeah, enjoy your "superior" Magnus I guess
IgnikaMarcus
Yes. Instead, they swapped out an interesting play pattern befitting of Magnus for something menat for Junkions and shit tone of empty space!
And all for $40 more!
How wonderful.
Oh look. A Matrix chamber.
Not worth it.
Rojixus
The main attraction…of removable limbs and blast effects? Yeah, have fun with that, I'm going to buy something that's actually good.
WishfulThinking
I'm not convinced. But if you're happy with it, at least you have joy now.
C16
Nobody said it can't handle it. But engineering spent on a frivolous robot mode takes away from the main attraction. And the pics that just went up show how fantastic is looks without that Voyager cab robot taking away the budget.

This exactly
I'd say Pulsecon counts, especially since you didn't initially specify in person conventions. For in person conventions it definitely doesn't count though. As for Toyfair, I,m pretty sure they at least streamed their panels the years that Siege and Earthrise were running.
BombSquad
Didn't know about Toyfair, and Pulsecon doesn't count since it's not really a convention, just stream-only event. We're talking about in-person conventions.
Seanprime
Yup was just about to say that, it eas at an angle but otherwise you could see it. Also it was actually an IG live stream that I found from someone last year
PloverNutter
They did npt have to hide themselves streaming it but they weren't allowed out of their seat so it was not up close and was at an angle.
Laser_Optimus
It's more accurate to say that they never stream SDCC panels and they only recently started streaming their Toyfair panels. I'm guessing it's likely a legal issue for SDCC. I'm pretty positive the convention itself wouldn't want people who overpaid to go get squashed and stunk to death by others upset that the rest of us plebes got to see their panels without suffering.
T-Hybrid
Was it a good stream or did they have to be discreet. I'm not familiar with the policies companies have about trying to stream stuff like this.
Seanprime
Yeah I think so, last year it was someone on YouTube who was just there. Literally could be anyone. Like if I was there I’d stream it for example. So yeah I expect someone to have it going
Fatelift1987
Do you think we'll find someone like that this year to record?
Seanprime
Yuo this is exact thing happened last year, someone just streamed the event from their phone and we all watched it.
