Transformers: Bumblebee movie is less than a month away for Japan and with it, comes an official Bumblebee themed Café hosted by none other than Takara.
The café will open on March 8th and it’ll go on till March 31st at the Ikebukuro Parco store in Tokyo. Decorations inside the café will be done by Sanrio Co. Ltd. (Hello Kitty fame)
Multiple QR codes can be found hidden within the store; which will unlock a special secret message from Ryōhei Kimura who lends his voice to our titular character.
Several examples of some of the menu items can be found attached with this news post. You can visit Takara’s official website for additional info.

The Japanese love mayo. If it's not covered with that, it's either corn, curry, or cheese (the three C's).

So it appears Bumblebee Cafe is only a 3 week limited run pop up cafe to coincide with the art exhibit?

Any idea if they are offering any special exclusive merchandise at the café? I mean stuff other than food?
Gamerlingual
Keep me posted if you guys go. Would be fun

My girlfriend doesn't like spicy food, but make of my other friends do.
Gamerlingual, I think Masabon is going next week to the cafe maybe?
Not sure if I'm going though. I'll ask my GF.
Gamerlingual
Like I said, prolly go take pictures to show to the all the crew here on the boards

Could very well be a regional thing. Kansai vs. Kanto. And of course, I'm not talking about anything wasabi as that is generally considered a different type of hot XD
Anyway, doesn't really matter.
I was just saying that I don't think they'd put a bunch of spicy powder on omurice is all
Any of you Tokyo guys planning to go check it out?
Gamerlingual
Our experiences vary greatly.

Sure they have some insanely crazy stuff over here, but your average Japanese (that would go to a cutesy cafe like this) doesn't handle spicy too well.
At least, that has been my experience
primalxconvoy
Good job you haven't eaten at "Bronco Billy".
