Well, you can take it two ways. Either Megabolt Megatron was designed for Transtech, ignoring that the design is based on his Beast Machines model. Or we can accept that Archer honestly doesn't remember the difference, after asked about the floating head ship design and Archer kind of hand waves it with "sure, whatever". We already have him on record saying he doesn't remember when Beast Machines ended and Transtech began…and seems to have forgotten Megatron's form in Beast Machines season 2. I, personally, would not use him as gospel on what was Beast Machines and what was Transtech when we have actual model sheets showing otherwise.

Remember when people thought the ROBO Wild rdr listing could be X-Brawn but nobody thought it was likely?

If sideburn is on the way then I hope we get other RID characters, specifically Optimus and magnus. Cyberverse is really recent and had its toyline going until last year, and you can still find them at retail around, so I\'m not too bothered that generations isn\'t giving us proper cyberverse toys yet. However, I would\'ve liked a more accuatcyee shadow striker just because we never got a deluxe for her.
ScorponokIsHere
wait, why would they retool a purple car lady into another purple car lady
that's just the same toy again in the same colors

Honestly, I assumed Shadow Striker would be a re-head/retool of Axlegrease, who'se already a blue-purple lady-car with Frankensteinable limbs – like the Cyberverse version. But a RiD/Universe version sounds cool too.

If the drawing is correct this is super disappointing to me. I was hoping for Cyberverse Shadowstriker not Sideburn in purple. I'm stoked we're getting sideburn probably pretty soon(and hopefully roulette), but I was hoping that since Cyberverse, like the UT, is pretty G1 in design it would be pretty close to the on screen appearance. I'm still buying it since I want each continuity to have its own shelf. Of course all my complaining could be useless as it may be fake.
Nightstrike
They're by a known and infamous leaker/artist here on the boards.

SS86 Wreck-Gar was first leaked by the same person in the same way a while back

What does that response even mean?

I must have missed something. Why are we discussing terrible MS Paint doodles as if they're official figure releases?
Edwardmus Prime
The mixing was clearly done in a way to sacrifice elements from the Cyberverse version to use it as Sideburn in the future. There's no other reason why the mixture would be so lopsided when they're touting this as Cyberverse. This isn't just a sketch, it's a trace of a photo of the toy; the design elements you see are what you get unless they didn't trace large parts or the leakers are lying.
Skycutter
Fine, but shadow striker looking like sideburns doesn’t mean sideburn came first, it just combining universe and cyberverse, just there not a whole lot between them to do much with, and with this sketch, there a good chance it looks more of a mix then this on the actual toy
Edwardmus Prime
Not really. His shape is very reminiscent of TFP and there are very blatant differences from how G1 does things all around. The shoulders, shins and heels are all different from G1. His nosecone vanishes while it ends up on his calves/shins on G1, and the thrusters transform out of the heels much more like TFP. The only things that stand out as G1 are the chest, large thrusters and overall design language of the jet.
This thing stands out as having the entire body of the other version except for the head.
