Following the cancellation of New York Toy Fair 2022 and Nuremberg Toy Fair 2022, Hasbro has decided to step down from London Toy Fair 2022.
London Toy Fair is the only fair to go ahead this year; while its brethren canceled their shows amidst COVID-19 pandemic fears.
Prior to the cancellation announcement of NYTF, Hasbro stepped down from that fair as well.
However, Hasbro license-holders such as Jazwares, Tomy, Basic Fun, Heathside, and Ravensburger will mark their presence with licensed products.
London Toy Fair 2022 is scheduled to be held from 25th January to 27th January.

Yeah both do board games.
I'll assume they only hold a jigsaw license.

And if they bungle your sign up, you might not even know you're supposed to be getting some e-mails. FunPub did that to me several years ago and I missed out on their G2 Ramjet as a result.

….Hasbro is not going to hire someone to transcribe every meeting just so you buy the toy you were gonna buy anyway. And yes, you'll buy it anyway. Because somebody with FOMO this bad isn't going to leave a toy they want sitting on the shelf out of spite.
Sunbow Prime
I did. They don't send emails out until the order page is live.
Fallout
who else is gonna make sure i don't get lost or abducted by a stranger?????

You should PROBABLY sign up for Pulse Premium if you haven't already then.
I routinely get Emails from them about new product pre-orders and product restocks because I'm a Premium member and I tend to get first shot at things like this. It's literally your fuck up if you can't be bothered to spend 50 a year when you probably already spend at least hundreds a year on Transformers toys. Before tax that 50 dollar Pulse Premium membership is going to cost you ~14 US cents a day. Considering how many emails I get and the Transformers I picked up, the GI Joes I picked up, all the things I was able to PO as a Premium Member I don't see a downside here.
Cost is irrelevant. Many of us here are mega fans who spend hundreds, perhaps even thousands a year on Transformers related product. If you spend that much on TF toys and you somehow can't afford or stomach a 50 dollar membership that is absolutely a YOU problem that you need to solve. The cost of me being a member and literally being informed on more toys I have zero interest in is pretty valuable.

We didn't start the fire
It was always burning, since the world's been turning
We didn't start the fire
But when we are gone
It will still burn on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on

*looks at Wave 1 Legacy, available for pre-order for ~2 months already, with conservative shipping estimates not until ~May*
Sure, buddy.
Sunbow Prime
I just want to know what's coming and when I can order it with more advanced notice than the zero seconds of the current system.

It's absolutely delusional to think that you should have access to internal company discussions and planning.
Sunbow Prime
If it was posted as transcripts that sounds great. That stuff would get scraped and filtered for the important information. If you knew the dates orders went live you could just set a reminder and not waste time checking.

Stuff like this may be the only reason I'm not entirely against leakers purposefully dropping fake info just to f**k with everyone.
Remember the freakout about Prime Breakdown being part of Menasor then it was revealed to be fale? I take it back, this place had it coming.
The embarrassing thing is you actually believe this.
Honestly, the quickest way for Hasbro to likely make people regret this request would be to actually dump the full meeting minutes of every meeting every goddamn day of the year until people are drowning in so much info it all becomes noise.
It's the 24/7 news cycle in toy form. People refuse to log-off so any *morsel* of info gets pounced on, ground up, and shat back out immediately.
It's how you have people complaining about how there's been a dearth of news less than a *week* after Skywarp/Iguanus were revealed. Time is meaningless.

Anyone attending this London toy fair won’t get my money.
I respect their choice to disregard reality and risk literal lives to do something they could do more effectively by other means. That takes guts.
However, choices have consequences just as mine means my collection will stagnate.
ScorponokIsHere
wow yeah that could never backfire ever, let's not think about this for more than three seconds
Sunbow Prime
I know it's not. I would rather just be able to filter out a bunch of emails than have to check a website every day. I'm just stating what I would like to see and getting my opinion out there.
T-Hybrid
Also, "HasTak need to announce the entire 2022 lineup with preorders now or I'm not going to buy anything." isn't the flex you think it is.
Especially in a world where, as noted, stuff is selling out anyway.

It's like, that information is all posted on the front page here, anyways.
Bookmark that, and check in every day if you're going to be so paranoid about it. Not like the information posted there's going to be any different than what the rest of us get. And we all somehow manage to get by.

Would you also like Hasbro to hold your hand and walk you to the store?
Like…Hasbros only obligation is to make product and sell it to retailers. It's not their responsibility to make sure that you, personally, are aware of every product they make (that you happen to be interested in) and when and where you should buy it.
Those things can be nice, when it's an exclusive or limited availability item. But they don’t need to guide you through every purchase. As a customer, it's up to you to be aware of what products exist. The information is readily available.

Every new toy that pops up in stores gets a new thread and a spot on the front page. You are living in a fantasy world.
