Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe WFC-GS25 Transmutate
Product Description
Fans can take their Transformers figure collections to the next level with Generations Selects, a fan-dedicated line of figures featuring fan-favorite, special edition characters you can’t find in the main line.
Inspired by the character’s appearance in the Beast Wars animated series comes this special edition Transmutate figure! Transmutate was once a Maximal protoform, but after taking heavy damage to her stasis pod she was left warped and unable to convert. She has an innocent nature and unassuming form, but when threatened, she unleashes her immensely destructive super-sonic scream!
Transmutate was originally released as a build-a-figure in 2006, and now, she’s available in a single pack! Paying homage to the original, this Transmutate figure can break apart into pieces. In this edition of the figure, the pieces can be used as bone armor and weapons for other figures (each sold separately, subject to availability). Though Transmutate cannot convert in the show, this figure converts from robot to beast mode in 32 steps.
Includes Generations Selects Deluxe Class Transmutate figure, and instructions.

that's why I said "most likely" and not "definitely". If the one he got was a reject fig (I'd bet it is, considering his track record) then the odds are the actual release will have better mask tolerances. Granted, there's always the chance they don't catch it in time but I'll remain optimistic. Worst case scenario, you throw some future on it/swap the pin yourself/return it.

However, TM's head does not reuse any parts from Paleotrex, save the neck, which is not the problem area. Saying "all Paleotrex heads are fine, therefore TM's head will be fine" is like saying "wow, all the apples i bought were delicious! I'll go back to that store and buy some oranges!"

not really

considering how both of my paleotrex' robot masks are fit as a fiddle, his is most likely rejects and retail figs are good

Two video reviews, and both have robot mode heads that want to flop open constantly… Anyone working on an idea how to fix that? Because it could be a widespread problem…
Or can we hope that these 2 are just "stolen rejects" from the factory, and the regular versions will be ok?

They definitely weren't but sure.

Admittedly, I never watched that one.

Well the maximals were the bad guys in beast machines too.
Hicks_Royel
And, yet, when you realize that they cannot be controlled, your best options are forcing them into stasis lock and/or destroying them.

It's not my fault I didn't grow up with it, and so the first thing that came to mind when I saw it was this:

Eh, don't bank on those release dates. It's usually a 2-month wait between video reviews and product releasing. Give or take a couple of weeks. I'd say some stores, especially CMDStore, will get 'em in super early before anyone else. Pulse always moves dates to the latest they can so they can give other retailers a chance and if it comes in early or they can move the date back up you, as a consumer, can say "ooh! they got it early!" when really, this was when it was supposed to happen.
It's kind of how Amazon works, they always give a bigger window of time, then hit you with the actual release date like they've done you a favor or something. (They haven't.)

This is an interesting look. I probably will preorder as I have the first two and like the idea of eventually making a skeleton combiner. She does look a bit like newborn from alien crossed with the mask from scream.
Yeah baby yeah….

Where I can preorder it on Europe, not UK?

When you manage that. I need to see it! I can only afford 5 of each of the normal fossilizers otherwise I would be getting a minimum of 5 of each of them. Skelevore is too rich for my blood (unless I can get more, cheap, without megatron) as is Tricranius and all those blast effects. Transmutate im getting 2 of. But that's only to make a more accurate bot mode, her being a unique existing character is preventing me from army building her.

I'm gonna get six of these.five for the gravelord paleotrex combination and one to ride the gravelord paleotrex/transmutate
