No shelfwarming here, out in the middle of Australia, with a low population density. Cyberverse stuff flies off the shelf. From where I am, Cyberverse (with endless waves of new stuff, or so it seems to me) looks like a real hit. Certainly appears to shift more than WFC, where we have an initial flurry and then re-stocks of each wave of deluxes just sit there for months.
That's the effect of the build-a-figure daftness. Still, given that there appears never to have been any intention for them to compete with WFC in terms of quality, I quite like them, and am really looking forward to this next lot. I don't think the cyberverse line is going away just because the cartoon ended; I think that this is a line that will continue each year using the evergreen designs, alongside the generations line (and whatever that evolves into).
Matthew Haskett
I’m somewhat surprised these are still going simply because they we’re not really fun to play with. The quality was good for the subline, but it was a step bellow WFC at the same price point.
I only have two. Bumblebee is fine but a bit loose. It’s decent looking on it’s own but if you put it next to a WFC figure it looks more like a combiner wars KO.
Megatron is a complete mess and it’s not fun to play with at all. I must be doing things wrong but no matter what I do I cannot manage the transformation without limbs falling off. It’s like a Beast Wars insect—limbs endlessly popping off of their ball joints. He is top heavy in bot mode with floppy legs that remind me of some silly rag-doll physics game.

Cyberverse is getting more media content this year, you don't do more media content for a dead line
KuleGuy123
While I do really look forwards to these, I bet that they've all been canned. Cyberverse seems to have been a bit of a flop (seeing as nearly all of the figures have been shelfwarming for ages) , And I don't expect hasbro to put out more figures for a near-dead line

I actually prefer the BAF format for the Cyberverse TFs because otherwise I'd skip the entire wave aside from Thunderhowl and maybe Arcee, and I love all the molds. Hot Rod is the weakest tho imo.
Alienmorph
Yeah, it took so much away. The BAF set was the best bunch of Cyberverse figures we've got, they all had the proper accessories and even effect parts. Truly, adding a piece of a non transformable Build-a-figure version of a character that doesn't have a altmode in the show to the whole package robbed us of so much.
JJJ
When it takes money away from making the rest of what's in the box better (y'know the bit of my post you deliberately removed), we absolutely do, yes.
Alienmorph
Yes, thank you. We really need someone to say "if it doesn't transform is not a transformer and it suuuucks!" every g'damn time a transformer character gets a non-transforming figure. No really, please, we need at least one. Possibly more! /sarcasm
Robogeek28
I wanna see all the Seeker repaints/remolds in this line.
Fenrys
Alpha Trion didn't transform in the show but he got an Ultra class figure, so there's also an argument in that favor
JJJ
Or maybe just dump the daft build-a-figure concept and spend the extra money in the budget on another figure. Or maybe on improving whatever's in the line.
Non-transforming Transformers are a sucky idea, one I had hoped would remain in 1990.
Alienmorph
Would be fun to get a good Wildwheel figure in the second batch. He's not exactly much of a character, but his design is cool, and wave 1 had Thunderhowl… tho I'd happily take a Sky-Byte too…
As for the BAF, the not-Tarn would make the most sense since he's pretty much the only other character in the show besides Maccadam that doesn't transform. Maybe doing a Quintesson model could be a viable alternative too but… ehhh…
WEEGEE
We need shadowstriker and maybe maybe some of their cybertronian modes, that plus the three revealed would be fine.
R3M1NGT0N
Likely, but if they do I hope they’re exclusives of some kind. There’s too many characters in the show that haven’t received good figures yet that would be really nice to get. Megatron X is the only repaint I’d be okay with in the main assortment
Fc203
I wonder if theyll play it safe in this assortment and give us repaints like megatron x and the black hot rod
R3M1NGT0N
I haven’t seen the cartoon but do they transform? Because if they don’t then there’s an argument to me made there for why he makes some sense as a BAF.
Ultra figure would be nice, but I’m not fond of the armor gimmick. Feel like it hinders some figures.
RodimusSupreme
Such as another decent Ultra figure.
MrSoundmeister
Yeah… it would be a odd choice if it was the BAF especially since they are not only an army builder… But they would be a rather small Tarn. They would likely work better as a larger size class in that line.
Skycutter
i am hoping the baf is the perfect decepticons, aka tarn
