Some people are just addicted to buying things, and when they run out of things to buy, anything will do. The act of hunting and buying becomes more important than the having.
I like Transformers very much, and I like Street Fighter (and fighting games in general) very much. I own merchandise from both franchises. Lots. Too much, if I'm being honest. But there's still a lot of merchandise from either before I get to the point I've run out and need to start thinking about this Frankenstein stuff. I mean, just the mold they used for Ryu… I don't even own all the repaints/remolds that are of actual TF characters yet, some of which I'd really like. And if I wanted another representation of Ryu, there are so many options out there in terms of figures or statues that actually look like him. And what's the overlap? What's the connection? Ryu as a truck? Ryu doesn't even drive!
If you want it, go for it. I never said it shouldn't be made or that no one should want it. Only why I didn't.
