Million Publishing have revealed the mail-in exclusive set of Transformers to accompany the book, Transformers Generations 2015. This year’s mail-in exclusive is a set of two Legends class figures, Dogfight (a redeco of Combiner Wars Legends Powerglide) and Runamuck (a redeco of Combiner Wars Blackjack). It is being advertised as a part of the broader “Transformers Adventure” banner.
Like past Million Publishing exclusives, these are made-to-order, and fans can place their orders using an order form included with the Generations 2015 book. According to the information that Million Publishing has put out on these, the deadline for placing orders is February 2016, with the toys themselves set to be shipped in May 2016 – which means if you are wanting to get a set of these, you should be able to find them at retailers at summer conventions such as TFcon 2016 or TFNation 2016. Please note, as with past exclusives, Million Publishing are only accepting orders from Japanese residents, and not offering international shipping.
Last but by no means least, Million Publishing have released some early images of both exclusives. There’s no remolding on either one, and right now, both feature the circular stickers of the Transformers Adventure line. They are, however, great accompaniments to the existing Transformers Adventure releases – Dogfight goes well with fellow Triggerbot Override, while Runamuck nicely complements the Runabout which Takara-Tomy previously released.

Maybe Runamuck could've used a liiiiitle bit more orange to break up all of that white, but other than that he and Dogfight look good. Just not $100 good.

for me, its the prices……i never like the fact that a $10 and $15 toy can escalate to over $40 and $90. yes, i get its an exclusive, meaning that one store sells it only, but quadupling the price is just greedy……i can see doubling and, possibly on the character, tripling….but not quadupling or more…..
also, in this case, that runabout and overdrive are more available than there partners…..

I'm sorry, but I've never completely understood this reaction to an exclusive release. Is it the fact it's exclusive? Because I see it as a case of "either these guys do it as an exclusive, or it just never gets made at all". That's usually how some of these exclusives work – they are figures that Hasbro or Takara-Tomy want to do, but cannot find a home for. There's things like Fun Publications, where it is the licensee who makes that call, but again, it's a case of "this isn't something that Hasbro / Takara-Tomy were planning on".
