Little late on this thread but I'm glad Shout Factory rereleased this and Armada and Energon!!! Been looking for these to add to my collection. Question for those who bought this Cybertron set: did they fix episode 3(I think it was ep 3 or 4)? Either way still looking forward to finally owning this set!!

Well the good news for Australia is that we're getting it in two collections. 26 episodes on four discs. Oh, and I noticed they used the same art cover as Collection One (which came out on the 16th of April). Hope Shout!Factory asked for permission to use that.
Not that I'm complaining or anything. Just… meh. I have the US complete collection from 2008 although its missing half an episode of episode 3. Might sell it sometime since it can't play on my PS3/PS4. Can't wait to get Collection Two!
OMEGA PRIME12

Astroscream
I hope its available early at Botcon.

Cosign.
I don't think it's that simple. There are differences other than the language tracks.
LegendAntihero
I like the new cover art. I'm glad they commissioned it
Autovolt 127
I prefer Cybertron over Galaxy Force when it comes to the voices and personalities however I prefer Galaxy Force's whole it's its own continuity.
They should still have both versions on the DVD for good measure.
RedAlert Rescue
Shame they can't use it as an excuse to make Signal Lancer as a toy.
Perhaps Third party maker X-2 'Might' if I beg a lot.
solusprime19
Exactly my thoughts man.
Necromaster
Generations Metroplex would like a word with you.
optimusmegas
i loved the figures from cybertron, seriously it's like my favorite optimus prime, but this show….eh. i thought the animation was awful the voice acting was annoying and the human cast….its hard to find an example of a human cast that had less a reason to be there than the human cast of this series. there were there because……reasons…
it's good that it's coming out and im not bashing you guys that liked it but i thought this and energon were horrible. it was like a chore for me to watch it.
Cracka J
Ah, gotcha. Well if you are a big fan of the toys and characters in general, you may want to give it a watch sometime. GF is definitely worth the ride, if nothing else, to see how the show was in it's original form.
grimlock1972
shall get this.
Boy Blunder
That would be a negative, captain. I guess I am coming at it from a different angle than you and some others here, but I've only seen Cybertron, not GF, so I can only speak on the merits and faults it as as its own entity and not as a redub.
Robogeek28
No prob man.
Matty
Thanks boss
Robogeek28
Here ya go.
Cracka J
Did you watch GF though? The differences might be a lot more drastic if you have. GF, to me, is probably the best animated series. I just loved everything about it. Probably why I felt like I got kicked in the nuts when I tried to watch cybertron. It just felt like a watered down mess of what GF was.
I'm just not sure why the og japanese track with subs would have been that hard of an extra option. Not like they didn't just do that for HM, MF, and Victory.
Matty
Where? I don't see a listing for this new release.
Boy Blunder
Wow, lotta naysayers here.
Can't say Cybertron was perfect, but it's definitely the best of the "Unicron Trilogy," and honestly the forced attempts at making it a trilogy are so few, I barely even noticed watching through it. (For the record, my wife and I just marathoned Armada and Cybertron a few months back – tried to watch Energon too, but that didn't make it past episode 2.) I found it enjoyable and the characters had some pretty impressively serious moments for what it was. Looking forward to adding this to the shelf.
…then why the monkey are you here? Unless it's to shit on people who still enjoy collecting the toys now, I see absolutely no reason.
