For our next gallery update, we bring you a look at one of the newest E-Hobby exclusive sets. For their most recent release, E-Hobby took Generation 1 Soundwave and Blaster along with their cassettes Rewind, Ramhorn, Ratbat and Slugfest and redecoed them as their mirror universe Shattered Glass alter-egos. The set also adds Solarbot, a new character from the Rewind mold who features clear plastic.
The individual figures have some sharp decos – Soundwave looks excellent in white, and Blaster’s “evil” deco really works with the mold especially with the way the head and face is realized. The cassettes, meanwhile, look phenomenally cool in their new decos, from Ratbat’s Batman inspired colors to the red and white on Rewind. They are great redecos of the cassettes who stand alone, apart from the whole Shattered Glass theme, and just look great.
Overall, this set is Shattered Glass “done right”, using the mirror universe concept as a springboard to offer fans some great new versions of the Generation 1 toys. If you’re a fan of E-Hobby’s previous exclusives or looking for a place to start collecting this fun subset of Transformers collectibles, you could do a lot worse than checking out this set. I had sold some and the comic was outside the packaging. So it's likely the seller either misplaced it or sold it by itself at some point.
I don't have any more, the last one went a few months ago.
flux convoy
Same here.

ANYONE WANNA SELL ME THE COMIC?
…i hate myself…
silverbolt77
ahh…ok. I didn't want to accuse the seller outright like that.
Ninjak
Thundershot is correct. When I got my set during one of the Club sales, the comic book was separate from the toy packaging, but in the same outer box.
silverbolt77
Would it be a dick move to request a refund? This sort of thing really bothers me because I'm OCD about getting things "complete" if it was advertised as "new complete, sealed". Technically, as the print says, it's missing something – but the seller may not ever have known…
Thundershot
It was with it but not in it sealed. I know because I read the comic but never opened the box.
G.B. Blackrock
Quite honestly, as someone who did buy the set new, and who definitely got the comic with the set, I don't remember for certain that it was inside the box.
The odds are, it was, but I'm actually not confident. It may be there aren't any shenanigans here, but others may remember better.
Purple Heart
TFWiki says it was packaged with it. If it was sold or shipped seperatly, they would have noted. Looks like you just got the short end of the straw, that or whoever you bought it from didn’t package it back in.
silverbolt77
Thats the thing – is it supposed to be inside the package? Or was it sold with one and it just arrived with it? I (probably naively) assumed it was in the package. Thus thinking "sealed" – it would be there.
Purple Heart
I don’t own it, but it did come with one.

Resurrecting an old thread…
I just picked up this set "sealed" and every solit I saw for this said it featured a insert comic book. Mine didn't come with any. Did anyone else's come with one?

^you would be surprised..A quick check on Evilbay show that the prices have skyrocketed to $400!!
Omegax80
$250 isn't bad actually. It's $200 from the club site, + shipping, and then shipping cost to whomever buys it. If it hit $300, then you could say it's ridiculous, considering it is still available in the club store.
eneyekay
This set is going for stupid money… would love to buy it, but not for $250+!!
[Wing_Saber-X]
Wowza. Those are really beautiful pics and color schemes..vibrant..IRRC,I've seen some sets on Mandarake Japan go for something like $130 only. Would want to get it someday… Thanks for sharing, Sol!
AZSirwave
That is correct! Blaster, in all his dark glory, has a German accent and is downright evil. Sir Soundwave, on the other hand, is a music loving, laid back righteous hippie. As indicated by the headband you can purchase for the Invasion Soundwave figure.
I can only imagine how much this set is going to average once it hits all of the online retailers…
General Hawk 7
So, Autobots are villians, Decepticons are good guys? Never read or even heard of the comic. Sounds neat.
AZSirwave
A perfect comparison, Sixshot.
I loved the Invasion comic, and I really wish FP, IDW, or Marvel (or one of the other comic book companies) would have expanded on the story. One issue just wasn't enough. A trade paper back? Yes, please.

Shattered glass is mirror universe, like the crime syndicate in Justice league
