Transformers Artist Marcelo Matere seems to be working on something very secret.
Tweeting today Mr. Matere said…
“just finished another TF Animated stuff 😉 And it’s official stuff =D”
Now’s time to start those “Transformers: Animated Season 4 Please!” speculations (hope against hope) and make sure to keep your fingers crossed.
We await further info MM!

hmm. I thought he was working on something "official". Still great stuff.

Maybe. I don't know if this is it, but it was posted not long after Tekno asked about it:
Posts after this was posted seem to imply this is Marcelo's Tweeted head.
Dr. Prime
Did anyone save a copy of this sketch before it was taken down? I missed it by like 2 minutes
Keith Prime
Was about to post that here (& quote General Tekno), as I just read a post about it in the thread about G1Uppers' Menasor heads sketches.

Well, earlier today, it appeared that Marcelo tweeted a sketch of an animated-style Menasor head, but it was quickly removed.

sorry if I missed something… but is there any update to this news? I thought it was gong to be discussed/revealed soon

If you had read the post that was in response to, he was spelling out that many of the lines in the discount stores hadn't failed, so saying Animated & RtS ended up there doesn't mean they failed. As he said, he was sarcastically pointing out the flaw in the initial arguement.

Allow me to translate my previous post for you:

I'd be satisfied if we went an Animated thread with people not talking like it "failed" using logic no deeper than "it's not currently going on, therefore it failed."

Hi, I think that you are missing the sarcasim in that post… aww forget it.

You seem to be under the impression that you know what a toyline failing means. None of those toylines failed. Infact some of them proved to be pretty successful in sales terms for Hasbro.
Some of the Lines were short lived yes but that was more due to the focus of the brand shifting to new media (in the case of animated with focus shifting to Prime and the Hub) The Movie lines were always going to have a short life because they were based on movies and movie lines only ever last as long as the interest in the movie.
Classics, Universe and Generations/RTS are basicaly the same line re named and reinvented inorder to rerelease the same characters as new toys.
If G1 had used the same subline branding rules that HAsbro are using now it would probably have been split into more than 10 lines….
The reason stock ends up in places like TJmaxx is that they're basicaly a stock clearance shop. One of the biggest costs of anything after development and shipping is warehouse costs…the longer something has to be stored the more it costs and the less profit will be made when it finally comes to be sold. So there is level of acceptable profit reduction so the stock can be cleared from the warehouse leaving space for newer SKUs (items/toys/products)
TJmaxx buys this older stock for less, clearing the warehouse.
The Transformers Brand is currently classed as a megabrand and megabrands need to continually refreshing to give new and exciting products. If you call that failing then I wouldn't mind that kind of money from failure.

That, like many other things on these boards, will never happen. If it did happen, by some miracle, the universe would surely implode.

Can we go one Animated thread with people not talking about how they think they know why animated was canned?
SPLIT LIP
Not really. Hasbro realised what a bunch of raving morons CN is and bailed.
A number of factors played into Animated's demise, but it never failed.
Eric
It didn't fail. It was Hasbro's idea to say fuck you to Cartoon Network and make their own channel.

After just finishing watching the entire Animated serie, I am hoping for a season 4, though I don't believe we'll get one
