TF08.net has posted an image of Animated Safeguard, the combined mode for Animated Jetfire and Jetstorm. The image features a better look at the combined mode for figures from the previously release photos, showing that Safeguard does indead have molded fists. It is currently not clear how accurate the transformation shown in the image is to the official mode. Jetfire and Jetstorm will be released in an Animated Entertainment Pack before the end of the year.

Nah, he msn me the link first (according to yizhi but who knows, lol) but I was away doing other things.
It's fine, whoever post is the same, information sharing is more impt.

Oh whoops, didn't see them here or I would have let it be. That was fast, I posted those as soon as yizhi im'd me the link.

I was going to say something to that effect. Sentinel Prime's body style fits Brock more than Optimus. Defintely not Bulkhead or Lugnut, though.
Oh, and Grimlock is a good fit for Baron Ünderbheit.
EDIT: Ok, made a separate thread so we don't derail this one anymore.

What does the original toy's character have to do with anything?
General Tekno
Firstly, S.P. is too much of a douchebag to work as Brock.
MAYBE Bulkhead could work as he can be pretty protective, and Lugnut is devoted enough to work. Grimlock could work except he isn't smart enough.
Secondly, as for Doc Venture… OilSlick isn't a bad choice really, although Starscream is vain enough to work as well.
Blackarachnia works well as Molotov though – in which case Brock = Optimus Prime. And Hunter could then possibly be Sentinel pre-op.

i get the impression that this toy might have a different design team than the other animated fiigures.

Must have missed it. Without dialogue though, it's still hard to determine their personalities. Looks like they're sparring with Jazz in a training session.
These are great! We should have a Venture Bros./Animated thread.
Foster
Good call. He has Afterburner's color scheme, roughly. And the alt mode looks somewhat like Afterburner's without bike axles or wheels.
Ravenxl7
That would be Jetfire (Jetstorm is the blue one), and I sorta see it, but it's not the first thing I think of when I see him. He reminds me more of the Technobots for some reason.
Baccala1976
Is it me or does the orange one (Jetstorm?) look like Daxter from the video game?
Ravenxl7
They're looking good, but I'm not 100% sure I'll get them or not. I'll have to see more pictures of them, and possibly an in-person look before I make a final decision.
Weirdwolf
While I have grown to like some of the Animated molds, this is certainly not one of them, as it looks like shit. I'll withhold final judgement until I see a correctly transformed one.
Mister Gone
Black Arachnia Molitov!
MR.UPGRADER
Looks preety awesome to me.

The Artist posted two pages of the comics on his Deviant art page.
It was a news story.
Johnator
That is hideous. Yuck.

I really don't think everyone's looking at these two pictures side-by-side. Just to make it clearer what the final product will look like, I GIMPed the two preview shots together and attached them here.
Assuming that I didn't screw up the attachments, check this out and THEN render an opinion. Personally, I think Safeguard is starting to look like a pretty cool toy.
Julliant
Can't disagree with that. Have no clue what the inspiration for that huge, even evil-looking, smile is.

With a slight mod, you could make Oil Slick into Dr. Venture. lol
