In early January, TFW2005 revealed to the fans that Decepticon Barricade is prominently featured in licensed merchandise for the upcoming Transformers: Bumblebee movie. This hinted toward a possible appearance of the character within the movie itself.
Sure enough, Jess Harnell (the voice of Live Action Movie Series Barricade), who spoke during a panel at London ComicCon 2018, has confirmed his involvement with the new film and reprising his role as the Decepticon enforcer.
Barricade is also listed as a toy for the Bumblebee movie Energon Igniters gimmick line.
You can check out his brief statement, at KidzCooLit.

Barricade was only in the toyline, not the films lolol
Delzord
Just seen this for the first time! I honestly can't believe people thought this was real lol! One watch and I can tell this isn't only fake but its faker than fake!

thanks for the clarification

Nothing happened, it was BS. The kid clearly cut his questions and the replies together. That conversation never happened. Who knows why he did it, but reports from the test screening while it was still a prequel confirm Barricade was never in it.

What happened here, and since it didn't end up coming out, they cut it when the movie became a kind of reboot?
Red Goblin
Nope. It all came from this one single video which noone bothered to watch fully I suppose.
Markatron
Yeah so did he actually say he was in the movie?
Fox13
I think we might be jumping the gun a little bit on this?
He doesn't really confirm anything, the kid pretty much puts the words in his mouth.
It's very much an "oh yeah, I heard about that" kind of response. "I didn't tell anybody" somewhat indicates that he might be in it but it's not as definitive as I would like.

yep. his robot and alt mode have been revealed by promotinal stickers along with optimus, hound, starscream etc. Transformers Digital Stickers Images – Evergreen Hound, Ratchet, & Barricade Revealed

Is he in Cyberverse? That would be great!
He's one of my favs from the Bay series. I loved the little touch of "To punish and enslave" and the irony of putting it on a police car He had a few good ones in TLK, too ("Keep calm an hail Megatron"). I would be really happy if he was featured in a prominent role in Bumblebee.

guys barricade is not a coward he just knows when to back off.
that's why he survives all the movies he's been in.
he knows that his intimidation is of better use than his fighthing skills. he's willing to fight and kill but won't risk his death.
anyway the more barricade the better. hasbro seems to love him aswell since he is now a official main decepticon proven by the fact he will be in the new cartoon as a decepticon police car.

Oh nice, glad to have Barricade back.
Burnout00012
Agreed! I really think, with what little detail I can see of that on-set photo that he's either a Caprice or an LTD CV, but if I could see the video I might be able to get a better look…
Burnout00012
Seems we're both right, as the name "Crown Victoria" has been around since '55 but technically this specific car is called the "LTD Crown Victoria", and the name didn't become its own title until '92.
Burnout00012
Really? It seems to match other crown vics of the time.
