Thanks to 2005 board member Strarf for sharing a news tidbit with us for the Robots In Disguise “Crash Combiners” line. Strarf’s local Wal-Mart in Indiana added a new shelf tag to their floor space. The tag reads – “TRA RID DEC DRAGSTR N WILDBREAK“. Whether or not these are new molds for the line or repaints of the Autobot cars in Decepticon colors remains to be seen. But, with a dragster and a name like “Wildbreak” speculation leads us to believe these may be Stunticon themed in some way or another. Time will tell as we get more information.
Keep checking TFW as we get closer to Toyfair where we can hopefully see these new toys! Click the title bar to join the discussion thread and speculate!

Yeah @T-Hybrid.@payres thanks.But I meant this Dragstrip,not the 4 bot one.
T-Hybrid
Wildstrip would sound pretty good.

So,this new combiner will be dragbreak?

I'm willing to give crash-combiners a shot…. WITH NEW F*CKING CHARACTERS.
I'm tired of buying Optimus, BB, Strongarm, and Sideswipe. Make it stop, HAsbro. Please make it stop!
Maybe the goal is redundancy in the face of awful distribution? Like, I may not own Warrior Sideswipe, but I can buy the 1-step or crash combiner? I don't get it. What parent, in their right mind, would buy 4-5 Sideswipes or Bumblebees? I think 2 or 3 is my limit. And then it's all, "No, no… you already have a Bumblebee… let's go look at something else."

Glad to see someone spotted this because I was gonna say the same thing.

if its resold its definitely them!!!!

While i would prefer another team to be the rumored rid combiner a Menasor made up of deluxe class Stunticons and a voyager Motormaster would be a welcome replacement for the sub-par CW
version (alltough that was mainly due to Motormaster).
And it might mean we could get Voyagers of Optimus, Megatronus, Grimlock and Underbite.
Thats a lot of if.

Not that I plan on purchasing any of these, but fifteen bucks for these what look to be little figures, I recently was able to purchase the Legendary Voltron lion figures for a few bucks more(aside from the black lion) and got pretty big figures that form a honking big Voltron from the new series. I'm just comparing the amount of plastic you get for a comparable price range.
I know its an apples and oranges but I guess for those who are interested in these more joy to you.
kaotika
of course there is.
if they find or come up with a better, closer name they can trademark.
motormaster-like figures got called menasor until they came up with motorbreath until they got motormaster back.
trailbreaker has been both trailcutter and trailblazer until they got trailbreaker back.
slingshot has been renamed to airazor and then quickslinger.
slags have been named snarl and now slug.
and wildbreak is arguably closer to wildrider than brake-neck was.
these are two toys and they combine together and theres no indication there part of a 5 bot team let alone there is or needs to be a breakdown replacement.
especially since that was never really a thing at all in the first place and breakdown was shown as knock outs buddy.
breakdown being dead has nothing to do with nothing.
TyrantLizardKing
Oh crap I completely forgot about that, good catch there.
Who knows, Breakdown's corpse gets around a lot so maybe he'll be revived or something.
scrapmetaru
Guys, I'm pretty sure that Wildbreak is replacing Breakdown, not Brake-neck. Which makes sense because Breakdown died, and there's no reason for Brake-neck to change names again.

Oh goodie non matching extending colored plastic sticking out like a sore thumb with black circle clipped around them for wheels. I mean geez even the packaging show the clips colored black. But with all the other incredibly large amount of paint apps on these things I guess Hasbro had to cut corners somewhere. Snickers.

I called Menasor. Yes!!! So happy. As far as how specific the label is… when I got beast hunters cyberverse huffer it was labeled as TRA PR BH CYB HUFFE… I thought that was funny.
kaijuguy19
This sounds a lot like the Stunticons which would be cool if that's the case.
TyrantLizardKing
I will say I\'m interested in getting appearances by Superion and Menasor in RiD but I\'m not terribly excited given how much exposure their G1 counterparts have been getting since Combiner Wars.
I will say I much prefer the name Wildbreak over Brake-Neck.
AirjitzuRonin
Guys. I think the Decepticon Combiner is Menasor. Dragstrip and Wildbreak (Wildrider + Brake-Neck). To match G1 we'll probably get Superion. Just look at Stormhammer and Skysledge's boxart.
DecepticusPrime
Which means they probably had to reprint a label and scanned his box. When setting a mod the system uses a label of generic description.
T-Hybrid
Yep. This likely confirms Menasor as the new villainous combiner.
Wonder if the three new Jet Autobots (two of which we know can combine) are a hint that Superion may show up as well.
When that weird wave of CW Wave 2 figure showed up at Walmart stores in my area had no idea how to handle it. I bought Offroad, and when they went to sell it they needed to manually add it.
The Walmart I bought it from had "Combiner Wars Offroad" sitting on a peg for *months*. I think it messed up the system so bad they never got another batch of Deluxes.
Seth Sunthay
Menasor confirmed.
