The official TakaraTomy website has posted a new campaign for two new variant Micron figures originally released in the Transformers Prime Arms Micron toy line. First figure is Micron Ink, a black version of Arms Micron Dago that originally came with Arms Micron Frenzy and Rumble. This figure will be available beginning from July, 15th with a purchase of 3000 yen or more on Transformers products at a Toy’R’Us store in Japan.
Next figure is Micron Sting, a semi-translucent version of Arms Micron Zori released together with Arms Micron Soundwave. This figure can be obtained in a similar fashion at other Japanese toy retailers (full list in description) starting from July 21st. Check out the full images of the two figures in the campaign after the jump.

WishfulThinking
I wish we got purchase bonuses. Yeah, there's the occasional KREO promotion…
MartyFeeb
Sigh, another purchase bonus for Japanese fans. Woo.
+1!
True, but this is one of the Microns I thought was kind of lacking/lame. The other ones are just cooler, imo. This guy is like a block with legs that becomes a… block.
Still, despite the simplicity (and lack of paint? ), I still think these were better than the current Mini-cons!!! Targetmasters? Yes. Mini-cons that turn into discs and "missiles"? Ugh.

Looking at the photos, Ink's not too bad either. But he's one of those figures that require double-up on for dual-wielding by a bigger figure.

I just got the original scorpion AM single pack (I always but extras if I see them).
As for paint, I think TT makes clear exclusives as they are harder to make by collectors. I myself buy extra AMs to repaint for any character I want. They are great for that, as you can give your characters targetmaster drones without the need for bios or complicated reasons. In my imagination, they are a standard issue weapons for most transformers.

I really liked the Arms Microns, but paint is sorely needed on them.

Neat. I loved Arms Micron and may bite on the Sting micron.

Goddamnit they still won't use Bido or Ulma!
Ok, that aside, oh hey another micron campaign. I find it kind of interesting they have a line with its own set if microns and they're still going back to the Arms Microns as campaign exclusives anyways. Also reminds me that I still need to track down a Micron Burn from the last campaign.
For those that don't recall, Ink is a re-use of Dago, the "octopus"/gun thing that came with AM Rumble & Frenzy, while Sting is a re-use of Zori, the scorpion that originally came with AM Soundwave.
