Since its mold brother Positum was released at the Singapore Toy Game & Comic convention, one would deduce that the next figure in the Function X toy line should not be far behind. Well thanks to Weibo User 景田-百岁山, we finally have in package product shots Function-X8 Crox, FansProject’s representation of the headmaster Skullcrucher.
These final product images shows off Crox in both modes, and they also features Crox’s headmaster figure transformed into its own robot mode as well. Additionaly, We see the robot mode’s shoulders opened, revealing the built in missile pods feature. According to preorder information, Crox should be arriving to your favorite online retailers in October, 2015. Will you be adding this figure in your collection? Check out the images below, and let us know on the boards.

As a heads up you can't POL it. Ships with their $4.00 economy rate.

BBTS has a sale for Crox. Thirty bucks is a steal for this.

Resurrecting this thread because I just took my copy of this guy out of storage for my shelves after a move & was wanting to know if there are any good blasters still available for him. My Google-fu is failing me.

Store credit….so with Ship it came out to $20.
tony77tony77
how did you do that if its $40?
edgecrusher
It's on sale for $40, unless you had store credit or something.

Hasbro's version is a floppy piece of shit. Crox is a definite upgrade, especially at $40. Hell, even at regular price. Hasbro's Brainstorm and Hardhead are legit, but I would like FP's Hardhead if they ever make it.

Just pick this guy up at TFSource for just $20…..

I just got this figure along with Wierdwolf and mindwipe in the mail the other day. Didn't know about the sales on these figures. I got mine from eBay for a good price. I've transformed mindwipe and I just did skullcruncher tonight. The bot modes are great, the beast modes look great but I wish they had some more articulation in the legs. Skullcruncher just having hinged hind feet is a big disappointment, I hate when the legs can just be posed forward to backward.

Yeah, I bought a couple hasbro ones and they're like bobble heads. I really don't care if my tf can cock it's head side to side either. If it can look left and right, that's good enough. Up and down is nearly as important, but I really have no need for head-cocking and loose connections that make the head wobble.

yeah, no kidding.
I picked up the Titans Return Skullcrusher, and it is buyer's remorse! i wish i would have waited for this sale.. I got Crox on the way..

I'll take ankles over the ability to look confused, thanks.

Ummmmmmm……

The Hasbro ones have way way better head articulation. They are on ball joints and can rotate and tilt.
Fansproject heads can only rotate and some up/down movement. Feels like a robot.

Eh, I love the figure and have no problem having paid $80 for him, although I wouldn't complain if they were cheaper. I've gotten to enjoy him longer, and to me he's 5x better than the hasbro one. They all are, really.
GiganGoji
I'm kicking myself for buying this at $80.
