Thanks to the Falcon’s Hanger on Facebook, we can now put to rest the information and reveal of a figure first teased back in 2012 at TFCon. Fansproject Function X-09 Positum will be a Headmaster reuse of their Crox mold, but as Optimus Prime as he appeared in the Generation 1 episode “City Of Steel”. This episode featured the Decepticons tearing Optimus part and using his body parts to thwart the other Autobots. In this particular instance, a majority of Optimus’ body parts were used to make an “Alligaticon”. Gruesome. This figure will be a Falcons Hanger Singapore Toy Game & Comic convention exclusive. It will run you roughly $130.00 SGD at Booth G19 and is limited to one per attendee.
Now that this figure is making it’s way out, as well as Function X 8 (Skullcruncher) & 10 (Highbrow), maybe we can set our hopes on the other 2012 reveal from TFCon – Fansproject Function X Minerva!
We’ll keep you posted as news rolls in. You can check out the official reveal of Positum by clicking the title bar and joining the discussion thread.

I have just decided this is my Hearts of steel beast Optimus to go with my hot solider centurion (hos bee)
Tontus314
They were $60 a couple of weeks ago. I grabbed one at that price and felt like I paid too much after I got it in hand.
levyshahar
Just checking, were these $60 in the weekend sale?
Cracka J
oddly enough I missed that crox sale and would rather have that for $40 then this for $60

Another FP sale? I am waiting for Browning to be on sale soon.
anubis20
For a Con exclusive i think the price was ok, probably the lowest it could ever be had for. I sold that Crox i bought and it helped fund this one
tony77tony77

Cracka J

Got mine today, he's great!! Thanks again for the help finding him.
Hey ToyDojo I pointed out above (5 days ago) that you have a typo in your listing for this guy. Considering the power of Google search it seems like you're doing yourselves a disservice not fixing that.
Hicks_Royel
Damn quoted with a typo… well, no, an unconventional alternative spelling according to M-W.com… I'm good.
But anyway, yeah, how 'bouts dems Croctimusesssesessesess?

I just want to follow up publicly that all is well and was resolved smoothly. Thanks again.

Looking at that croc-head in person, I can't unsee Uncle Deadly from the Muppets.

I want to make sure something isn't up. Your wait shouldn't be nearly that long. Ping us and we will figure out what happened.

Yes, indeed…
They don't pump out a ton of releases like a lot of them, but they're doing the same amount of figures they've been doing since the beginning. They've never been heavy hitters, but the majority of their releases are still awesome.
tfwmongrel
And it's unlikely they would give it the obscure Croctimus recolor, which is the only reason I'm interested. Though I do wonder if Maketoys will do the same thing (make Skullcruncher then release an OP treatment) after their success with Cupola.
Sweet thank you! Not only $5 cheaper but they include free shipping with it
Max Rawhide
Absolutely not, but then he won't cost even half what Crox cost.
As I said to a friend of mine, I'm absolutely sure Crox is better than Hasbro's version will be, but the question is if he's good enough to warrant the price difference. And that…I'm less sure of.
I know that for me Crox is the last of the FP Headmaster I've bought. Not because he's a bad figure — he's not: he's pretty darn good — but simply because they feel dated. These kind of figures were absolutely awesome and incredible a few years ago when the line started — although even at the time I lamented the small size: they're too small even for classics.
But with slow trickle of these figures FP have been surpassed in what you get for your money. For the same price as a FP Headmaster I can get a MMC figure and that is a big difference.

People changed their preference from CHUG to MP, and other companies (MMC) are making more popular characters.
FP's portfolio is still by far the most diverse, and their figures are still awesome. Just got Crox a few weeks ago and there is no way in hell Hasbro's Skullcruncher will be half as awesome.
