Heat Guy
From who I've talked with those are in development currently but won't be soon as Prime and Primal and coming before them.
hotbot2
No, he says specifically "in the works".
octobotimus
I think the quote mentioning mirage was actually saying Mirage and Scourge are being considered rather than already being in the works.
TF Hot Rod
Mirage is already in the works
SunSwipe5
Okay, so preordered Bee and Arcee.
Now, let me just say that I have never liked Arcee.
However, the Three Zero offering looks amazing.
I'm hoping they also do Mirage, Pablo, and Cheetor.

Here’s a detailed early look at the ROTB DLX Bumblebee, courtesy of Titanium Boy on YouTube.

The reason Bee was done instead of Mirage first is two things. Bee is more popular and sells more, and probably didn’t want to risk Mirage not being popular and selling.
Which I don’t think will be the case with how much praise the character has gotten.
VVa
And after ROTB being a thing for a little while now, you'd think they do Arcee's ROTB design instead of the one she was only in for 2 seconds.
VVa
It's because Bee still sells a ton. The more Bees they sell, the more money they get to make other characters. So they can then make more Bees for a quick cash injection.

I do find it funny they opted to do Bee first as he isn’t the main character, and Mirage probably is.
that being said, I preordered Bee- 1st high end version of 70’s Cameron we’ve had- this was a no brainer.
given how awesome the mirage character was I’ll likely get him too- but I’m not nuts about Mirage’s design.
Bee, Prime and Scourge are all automatic gets. Mirage is a probably and Primal- not positive. Gorilla mode would have been an automatic get- not positive on bot mode.
Shmoptimus Prime
After seeing the film, I wish they'd made Mirage first, as I'd be way more tempted to get him than bee.
hotbot2
Excellent choice. You won't regret it.
SunSwipe5
You gave me the push I needed.
Preordered.
VVa
I think the reasons to vs not to should answer it.
Pros;
One of the cleanest Bee designs of all time.
Is in his '77 Camaro alt form.
Will be SUPER posable.
Is Bumblebee.
Cons;
Is a bit expensive.
SunSwipe5
He looks so darn cool.
Debating if I should preorder him.
Maglite
It's not that hard to see why people would not be happy about a price increase in one line and fine with prices staying consistent in another. People tend to not like it when prices go up regardless of whether a figure from one line is comparably sized to a figure from another line.
VVa
I guess because even if he's an inch taller, the Bee figure is still massive for the character he's portraying.

Next to the MDLX Optimi, he towers over them still.

I dunno, Sideshow lists Bee at 20.3cm, Starscream is 19.8cm. That's only 5mm difference. I'm just going off the product listing.
Regardless, even if he's an inch shorter, he's $50 less than Bee. I don't get why to some people Bee is a reasonable price at $170, but a figure that's at most an inch shorter is a rip-off at $120.
hotbot2
No he's not. Starscream is about 8 inches, Bumblebee is 9.13 inches.
