Thanks to 2005 Boards member Reflector Prime for sharing in our boards photographic proof of his sighting of the Transformers Retro The Transformers: The Movie Starcream at US retail.
This Walmart exclusive re-issue of the classic G1 Starscream mold features a new movie-accurate deco and it comes packaged in a retro-style closed box. It was found at a Walmart in Lake Zurich, Illinois. As we can see from the images, Starscream comes in a solid case.
Retro Starscream is also available for pre-order via Walmart website and it’s expected for release in January 13th, 2023, but you may try to check your Walmart stores to try to grab him sooner.

Maybe this was posted earlier, but Hound’s shape made me laugh:

Glad to know! Thank you.
Mister Raymond
That’s normal.

Managed to lay my hands on retro Hound and when I was fiddling with him upside down, the head succumbs to gravity and always do a peekaboo.
Is this normal or should the head be secured in place when in alt mode?

I may have used a hair dryer. Basically you take apart the chest on the seeker (3 screws) to get to the plastic bit for the legs. The legs may need to come off as well. I cant remember without being at the figure. Just need to add more spacing as it is kind of warped. It's very easy to fix.

How does one straighten this piece?
BenjaminXavier
Thanks guys! I'll toy around with it later! None of my other reissue seekers have this problem, good to know its a relatively easy fix.
Foster
Sounds promising!
The Last Prime
It is very easy to do. Luckily there are no stickers to remove and damage to fix on the new reissues.
Foster
Same. I may see how easy this is to correct on my Retro Starscream, and if it's simple, apply it to the prior mold releases in my collection!

My vintage copies do it too. I just figured it was a molding issue.
The Last Prime
You will have to remove the legs and straighten a plastic piece. It's easy to do.

Hey has anyone else noticed the legs on Starscream and Thundercracker are angled together instead of straight? I went through 3 SS's and all were like that, as well as my one TC. Is there a fix?
unpunk
It’s still available on Pulse if you’re looking for one? Maybe you could put the other one in the BST thread to try to recoup some of your costs? Hopefully you can get one that’s complete.

UPDATE: instead of a replacement Thundercracker Hasbro sent me a Legacy Wreck 'n Rule Springer, which I guess is OK cause it goes for about $4 more at retail. I already have the Siege Springer and had passed on the Legacy deco as the gray looked too light to me. I wish Hasbro at least gave us a few different options for a replacement so we'd get something we actually want. Though what I REALLY want is a #$*! complete reissue Thundercracker…

Okay fixed the missile launcher. Just needed a correct sized spring. I used donor a from a retractable pen. The spring was a little too big in diameter so I had to resized it by using a plier. You need to remove the little nubs on both sides of the launcher's opening circled in red. They will prevent the missile from launching. I just used a hobby knife to give it a clean cut. With the spring installed, now there is tension on the missile and it can shoot.
Some caution should be taken when disassembling the front part of the missile launcher. A bit of glue had been applied from the factory. It holds fine with just friction. I didn't glue it back just in case I need to disassemble it again.
