ThreeZero have updated their website with the official announcement of their next MDLX figure – Starscream. This is a smaller scale, lower priced deluxe offering featuring high end paint and tons of articulation with an updated and slightly stylized G1 design. Read on for details about this release:
Following the launch of MDLX Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Nemesis Prime, Cliffjumper, and Rodimus Prime, threezero is proud to announce the seventh character from the Transformers MDLX series; Starscream, the treacherous Decepticon air commander and the deadliest of the Seekers.
MDLX Starscream is a fully-articulated figure that features threezero’s unique die-cast zinc alloy and engineer-grade plastic frame system, retaining the tactile playability and durability that threezero product is known for! Inspired by the original 1980s Transformers cartoon and toy line, MDLX Starscream is redesigned by threezero Creative Director Kelvin Sau. The iconic designs have been remixed to incorporate threezero’s hyper-detailed mechanical aesthetic, offering a familiar and exciting new presentation.

Pre Orders are Online at ShowZ.
It gets even better; they want 132$ for this.
I am sad that ThreeZero went down the Greedy Path.
As I said, they CAN offer low Prices.
But they do not WANT to do it.
Inflation is only in the Mind of the People,
and an excuse for Greed.
Even Rodimus was at 80$, and now they want
almost Twice the Sum.

When are pre orders up?
Doug
I like it. But l agree with some of you that $120 is pricey.
The Factory
I honestly have no idea how starscream ended up being more than $100 as the rest of the figures of the line are about $80 max. People could say that it\'s due to inflation and how the rise of plastic has increased, but still, it seems like a steep increase in price.
TF Hot Rod
I keep saying it but the wings could be a factor, they are close to the length of a Optimus on each side.

$60 for a 5 inch Bumbleebee vs. $120 for a 8 inch Starscream with big wings.
Sure, prices may have gone up a little bit, but that all seems reasonable to me.

If they so Grimlock I’ll probably be in trouble.

This looks dope as hell, I just have no place for it aside from a Starscream collection.
However, I hope ThreeZero keeps this line going and they make some more unique characters after the popular ones. A Fallen or Nova Prime in this scale would be awesome. Or even a reimagined Blackout or something.
Their upcoming Sideswipe looks great too.

$60…$80…$120… Yeesh.

It's a half inch shorter than DLX Bee. It's almost 8 inches tall.

This figure is shorter than Bumblebee? The Bumblebee is really tiny in person. This is not good

The Price is not OKAY.
I have calculated in around 80$,
because that is the Norm for ALL MDLX
so far. Even Rodimus was 80$ at ShowZ.
But will buy anyways. Still not okay from
ThreeZero to get greedy.
