At long last, Legacy wave 3 deluxes have been spotted at US retail! While an unusual state for first sightings, this time they’ve been found at a Target in Florida. Dead End and Crankcase aren’t present, but Skullgrin and Pointblank are more than enough of a sign that new figures are upon us.
Keep your eyes peeled and happy hunting, TFW!

Has BBTS started to ship Dead End yet? I got an email a few days ago saying their shipment was on the way.

I'm sure they have their hands full trying to offload 10 trillion copies of Blurr, Road Rocket, and Burn-Out…

As far as I’m aware we haven’t had any sightings of Legacy deluxes beyond wave 1 at Walmart. Not sure if they elected not to order anymore after getting Velocitron or if something broke down in the supply chain.

Have Legacy Deluxe Waves 2 and 3 gone by the wayside at Walmart? I’ve five stores in my area & have never seen anything past Wave 1.

Consistently replying to any and all posts of criticism with an instant invalidation strikes me as far more miserable and obsessed behavior than anything else.

It isn't even all that much text. Not even half a page out of my favorite book.
Damn good post, too.

Does anyone have a DPCI for the deluxe assortment? I tried using one with a store thats had confirmeds sightings over the phone and it just, isnt pulling anything up so im either using a wrong one or an outdated one.
TFXProtector
*shrugs* It took you more effort to click the buttons and share the images than it does to move your eyes left and right. It also takes a lot of text to respond to different people in one post. That's okay. If I can be wordy, you can be lazy. S'all good.

It's partially because he's a part of Menasor. I'm not sure he'd sell as well on his own if he wasn't gimmicked. The feet are ridiculous, but they're hardly the end of the world.
Eh, I see both sides of the argument. You're right in that you have to get him to complete Menasor, but he's also right that bad feet be damned, people gon' buy.
That's more or less it. Normally, I'd be on that side as I have been in the past but I mean he *IS* remolded and not a straight repaint. You can't reason with people sometimes, though. If he was just a simple repaint, I'd be pissed but he's not. They did put some effort into it. I can't fault them entirely.
Doesn't mean that complaints shouldn't be voiced at all. Hasbro *does* read the boards. Sometimes they get ideas from our comments. While this given figure is imperfect, the next might be fixed because someone complained. Or the next one might be a mess because we bought this one and everyone deemed it "good enough". So, sometimes those comments, both positive and negative *do* have an effect on figures and plans. And that's honestly okay.
Sorry, not sorry. I disagree with this. I get the whole "first world problems!" thing and that we're blessed to even be here, let alone collecting these. That said, it's a paycheck for some and a purchase for others and that's not to be ignored and swept away either. That's not okay. That's not your fault, it's theirs.
I get the point you're making and I can overlook a lot of flaws in a lot of cases. Breakdown, for example. He's a partial repaint and a partial remold, while not perfect, it's good enough that I'm satisfied. A lot of people aren't. In that case, I agree with you. He could be a whole lot worse. Pointblank, on the other hand…inexcusable. Clearly, he was meant to be a Voyager and they dropped the ball here. Forcing him to be a Deluxe and then subjecting him to further budget cuts was a terrible idea. There's so much about him that could've worked a heck of a lot better if they hadn't done what they've done to him.
Embracing flaws is okay to a point when it's something like gimmicks that actually *do* something. It's iffy to automatically embrace it all. Why do figures have hollowed, yellowing, waffled plastic? Why do these molds have so much degradation, now? Why are we paying $3-5.00 more for this version of the figure when it was that much cheaper just a year or so ago? The cost of living has gone up, so do the prices, that's a given. BUT…where do we draw the line? When do we (including you) finally say "Okay, you guys have pushed it too far, this time"? Should you even have to get to the point of being pushed out? Is that even fair to anyone?
I don't collect Cyberverse (and won't be collecting the upcoming Earthspark) stuff. It's hollowed out horribly, the gimmicks suck, and they're the same price as CHUG. The stylistic choice just makes them ugly to me. (Kids might like them, which is great!) Being a fan is part of who we are, part of what we are. Not the main component, but at least part of us. Some of us have been fans for the majority of our lives. CHUG shouldn't be Cyberverse/Earthspark because you like it as-is. (A lot of people don't.)
There's nothing wrong with legitimate complaints and complaining. There's a big problem with overtly negative bitching getting out of control. On that end of things, I agree with you. But, again, do you really want to be forced out of something you enjoy? Really? Why? What's the point? What does it do for you if we give up and let the figures all turn to crap and entire waves are comprised of figures you yourself wouldn't even buy? Because if it's one wave today, it'll be all waves down the road. Complaints can help avoid that.
If we all just sit here and say "Yup, great! Gimme more!" we'll have a line of nothing but meh, at best. No one in their right mind wants that. We wouldn't get the actually great figures if we didn't complain about the troubled figures before them. Mark and Evan look at our comments and say "Oh, hey. I see what they mean. Let's fix *this* on so and so before it hit shelves next year." I'm not saying be a Debbie Downer, I don't like them either. But don't be an Oliver, taking scraps and saying "Please, sir. May I have some more?"
Don't be uber bitchy, but don't turn a blind eye to problems, either. Both can co-exist if people would just try and be reasonable about things. Nothing's perfect, no one should demand that, but they should demand better if a product is clearly flawed and is costing a Hell of a lot more than it did before.
Bingo. You can be positive all day long, or you can be bitchy all day long, but if the wrong message hits Hasbro's ears, we all suffer for it. There is a modicum of "Notice me, Senpai!" and "This sucks!". My problem is all of the "This sucks and I hate you for liking it! You therefore suck and I hope you choke on it and die!" comments and the "Oh, my gosh. I don't even care about that. It's perfect to me, therefore you're a bitch and I hate you." comments. (No reason, at all, these days it seems.)
I personally think some figures (such as the Elita-1/Minerva mold) are terribly flawed (especially in the latter, considering they cut out her actual gimmick) and we have a right to voice our displeasure. While figures such as Legacy Inferno are imperfect but awesome.
Say, for example, you've saved up and you finally go to a restaurant to have a fancy steak but it comes out terrible. Do you A.) Eat it and shut up and feel immense displeasure that you didn't get your hard earned money's worth, B.) Tear the restaurant down and verbally rip the people apart and make yourself look like a lunatic, or C.) Make a reasonable complaint and have management come discuss it with you and find a possible equitable arrangement to fix the issue? If you choose anything but C, you're part of the problem that leads to A and B (which is utter insanity) and make C seem like a pipe dream when it's the most reasonable outcome of all.
Yes, on this I have to agree. That makes no sense. At least with Breakdown, you're getting a partially new figure as well as a repaint. With 2 of Wildrider, you're getting the same thing over and over again while bitching about a figure that's actually partially new and a different coat of paint, at least. I'm befuddled by that argument and those making it. If one can look at the side by side pictures of Wildrider and Breakdown and not see that they actually *are* different, they're also part of the problem.
Trust me, you don't want that. I've experienced that on their Power Rangers end of things and it really sucks. I will say to be happy that Hasbro *is* completing teams and combiners. What if they actually started to not complete teams? Well, it's happening in Power Rangers. Main Zords aren't even showing up in the toylines anymore. Even though they show up in the show!
On that, I will agree with the earlier post that we need to be thankful for what we have and what we get because Hasbro truly could make it worse. Doesn't mean we need to lap it up like a good dog all the time, however.
Squidward wasn't always wrong, though. Some of his complaints were legitimate and reasonable. Just because Spongebob is a mentally deficient buffoon everyone loves over Squidward doesn't mean he's 100% wrong all the time. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Fafnir72
That's kind of the same when watching a movie. Suspension of disbelief, enjoying the ride and not caring about the itty gritty on how many angels can sit on a pin's head or making some numbskull social commentary. Playtime is playtime and that Sponge Bob meme
Don't want to end up like Squidward all miserable
T-Hybrid
They won't. I'm just making a point about the potential impact of hate buying a second Wildrider instead of simply skipping Breakdown.
Neko-bot77
Hopefully they don't start leaving teams unfinished… I think G2 Menasor will be a good test of this though, since at least the 1st guy is locked in a Walmart exclusive slot. I don't doubt the limbs will be recollored, but a commander Motormaster? That will be the sticking point…
As for these people who are "not getting Breakdown", I think that "drop" in sales will be a much smaller number than typical drops from unemployment/ inflation/ "i can't afford this toy i have bills to pay", so the "message" they are sending is lost.
T-Hybrid
I get wanting to send Hasbro a message, but buying two Wildriders instead of Breakdown would tell them "hey we're okay if you don't finish teams…"
So the results would be they either don't emphasize finishing teams, or they stop doing combiners in a way that lets you swap out one component for another.
Because whether you bought a second Wildrider or a Breakdown….they still got your money for that last Deluxe.
Neko-bot77
I find it fascinating that some people upset about Breakdown not looking right are "protesting" by getting 2 Wildriders, thus making their Menasor HORRIBLY inaccurate as opposed to "a little inaccurate".
I'd say you're "cutting your nose off to spite your face", but it's more like "cutting off your LEG"…
But whatever. It's your toys, you can do whatever you want.
Vanya
Well, I'm certainly not going to and at least one person has already posted that they double dipped on Wild Rider instead of getting Breakdown.
You can do both of those things simultaneously.
Despite how people like to reduce things to black and white around here, different people criticize what they don't like from thread to thread.
And the same is true for the people that express praise.
There are plenty of times that I will agree with a person in some threads about some toys and disagree in others.
It would be great if we could do this without people jumping down our throats because they take it upon themselves to shut us down when they feel personally offended about the toy they like or try to catch people in gotcha moments like we were a bunch of politicians and pundits arguing about the latest bullshit controversy.
The most beneficial thing to the community is to express what you like, and criticize what you don't like in a constructive way.
This goes hand in hand with buying what you like and not buying what you don't.
Otherwise we are giving Hasbro bad feedback.
And that doesn't benefit anyone.
