Via PrimevsPrime on Youtube we have our first in-hand images of the highly anticipated Transformers Core Class Bumblebee Movie Shockwave.
This a very nice rendition of Shockwave, as seen in the Cybertron battle in the Bumblebee movie, for the small core class scale. Robot mode looks pretty movie-accurate and detailed for a figure this size, and we finally have a look at his Cybertronian tank mode. We also have comparison images next to other core class figures.
Check out all the images on this news post, as well as PrimevsPrime video review, after the jump. Click on the discussion link below and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Yeah, there's no way Hasbro is going to pass on our cash for a voyager or leader SS BB Shockwave. I suspect the only thing holding it back is just Hasbro waiting for an open slot in the SS line to release him. When one of the limited number of slots opens up, we'll get our one-eyed one-horned two-horned flying shooty purple people eater Autobot killer.

Mainly from Leaker (the reliable ones) also it just makes sense for a voyager figure of BBM Shockwave to happen 1.) Cause they said that a character can get both a Core Class figure and a regular sized figure 2.) The Core figure just doesn't scale at all with any of the BBM figures. My theory is this design is basically a downscaled design from the designs/CAD files for the Voyager figure with less detail, paint and articulation.

Wait, do you know this for sure?

Weird that both this figure and the 3rd party DLX scale Shockwave are both missing the wire connected to his arm cannon. Though I guess it makes sense since this has parts forming with the gun.

I've been collecting Bayformers from the start as well, and feel this is what I was hoping for from the start.
While I did really like the Bay designs for their uniqueness, these designs just feel like better representations of the characters. No more wondering who a design is meant to represent, and I like that.
TF Hot Rod
Okay…

I\'ve been collecting Bayformers since 2008. And this Shockwave is actually disappointing for me.

That is one big, angry eye.

Buying them from someone who stole them from the factory.
AlanDrak
how did this people get them so early?did they smuggle them via factory's backdoor or what?
TF Hot Rod
No, not even close

Not in the slightest. It just has similar transformation steps.

Is this a retool of the Beast Hunters Commander Shockwave?

A poseable Charlie figure like the upcoming SS86 core Spike would be nice. If it's just going to be an unposable figure like the one that came with SS15 Bee, or something like the Wheelie with SS86 Grimlock, I'd rather they not bother and save the plastic/budget for something useful.
If anyone was going to weaponize Dad jokes and lethal punnage, it'd be Shockwave.

>remove hidden wheels
>now the tracks touch the ground, it cant roll but at least it looks more convincing
>add a big rail on the bottom of each tread so it looks like theres a hidden wheel, negating the advantage of not having wheels
