Fans Hobby, via their Facebook account, have uploaded images of a color sample of their latest project: MB-13 Ace Hitter (Masterforce Headmaster Jr. Goshooter / Siren).
This figure is inspired by Goshooter from the G1 Japan Masterforce cartoon (which was based in G1 Headmaster Siren). The mold looks very cartoon-accurate in both modes with a highly poseable robot mode. Of course, he has a functional Headmaster unit which is pretty articulated for its size and fits inside the car mode. A very nice companion for MB-12 Athena (Masterforce Minverva). Keep in mind that this is still a color sample and not the final product, so we may still see some updates.
This figure is expected for release by July this year, and you can already find pre-orders via our sponsors links below. Now click on the discussion link below and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I’ll turn them around for sure! I figured the back part would be the heel, I was apparently wrong.
I had Siren as a kid as well, really glad they made this version. I might get Ace Hitter eventually, it’s a very fun mold.

Just get both! They’re two completely different characters, after all! Heck, one is a police car and the other is a fire department car, they’re as distinct as Red Alert and Clampdown!

It's funny, when I found out about Goshuta back then, I thought the original look was much cooler. That's why I decided to get the first version. But when I see the Siren version, I feel this warm good feeling of nostalgia, because he looks like the toy I had and loved as a kid.
Makes me wonder if I chose the right version.
edit:
btw. You have the feet backwards. (or rather the toy pictured in the image )

Glad I took the plunge on “Red Buzzer” because this is an awesome figure. Fun transformation, looks awesome in both modes, and I love that everything (other than the second face) can be stored in either mode.

I actually ended up selling mine, cause it just didn't fit in. I bought it because of the altmode, my first car was a Mazda RX-7.
But with all the decals and lights on top, it distracted me too much from the look of the car.
It also didn't really fit in my collection, and i ended up not picking it up anymore so i decided to sell it.
A fellow RX-7 owner was interested, he was really happy with it, so that makes me happy too

Yes very well done @Rath , "gateway drug" indeed….. very insightful of the addiction that will consume you….

Well this guy ended up being my Fans Hobby gateway drug. Got him, ended up getting Flamebreaker and liked that, then got Delta Baser, and now Power Commander. Loving all of them.

thanks, the seller said it was there since day one and he always had no idea what it is

Don't recall a piece like this from mine, but it's been a long while since unboxing. I'd recommend checking all your shoulder, elbow, hip and knee joints where a screw cover might be missing? Barring that, I'd have to dig mine out and find the box to even have a guess.

Just acquired a used one and there is a little black piece in the box. Does anyone know what it is? View attachment 29808091

So after not buying any TFs in almost two years, I bought this one lol. I had G1 Siren, he was my only headmaster and actually one of the last few Transformers I had as a kid, the other being Quake. I have no clue what happened to him as Quake made it through a couple of house moves, whereas Siren and most of the rest of my bots seemed to have been gone by then.
I love the figure overall, something about the silhouette I just love and it really invokes what I thought I was getting as 7 or 8 yr old me.
I do have a question: mine did not come with a right thumb, so is there a direct line to fans hobby or should I go through BBTS where I got him?

Thank you!

I’ve been enjoying my figure, but has anyone else had issues with rust on some of the metal pins? I can’t tell if it’s rust or some sort of black paint rub off, but I see it on the pin holding the headmaster legs in place, and on one of the panel hinges on the legs of them larger robot.

Finally got ahold of both these boys. Overall I'm super satisfied. Their transformation does feel like a mid-step between the other two. Kap's pretty easy going with a small order of operations with the inner leg panel but once you know it's easy. Athena is a touch fiddly in the arms and the legs have exactly one way to avoid clearance issues that I never remember. Ace and Red's limbs are clear and logical, but I find working the doors back into car mode a bit cluttered.
And all three are slightly annoying to get the driver in place, space for them always feels more like a quirk of design than intention.

Finally got my red buzzer. Overall, I really like it. My only two major criticisms are: 1) with all the blue plastic, there was no reason to paint the Headmaster’s head blue. It just means that paints gonna scrape every time you pop it in or pull it out of the next joint of the main body. 2) There was no reason to make the panels above the tech specs stickers. If they were just going to be three squares of colors rather than actual text, they should’ve been paint apps. I just don’t see much point in putting those stickers on. I thought it was going to be “Str, Int, Spd” not red, yellow, and blue.
