Yes. Double headmaster, too. We saw him at NYTF last month. Most online retailers have pre-orders available already.

Scorponok?….is he going to be Titan Class?
lord ginrai
Yeah, give em a go.
They can be like a wave or two behind but generally have new stuff as well. Bought a bunch of the later wave Siege micromasters for like ¥1000 each, which I thought was pretty decent.

Nemesis was ordered retail. Just like Thrones of the Primes. Heck, a lot got sold on sale.
Since the unification, 99.99% same except for the JP label fonts.

Mandarake? really never been in one but think there is one here in fukuoka, could have sworn I walked by one , one time here. Ill take a look if I ever go that way again, and thank you for that tip . I always thought they were like mostly old toys for some reason. Shows how much I know LOL
lord ginrai
Yeah nothing beats Amazon preorder prices. I also always preorder on day 1 to use the lowest price guarantee.
Stores here in Osaka (Bic Camera, Kidsland, Jungle, Mandarake etc) are generally quite a bit lower than MSRP for newer products. Sometimes even beating Amazon.
15 years in Japan, nice! I've been here for 7 myself.
Definitely gonna keep an eye on both AMZ US and JP (assuming he won't end up being a TT Mall exclusive) to see if I can get a deal on Scorponok. Thanks for the tip!
Fenrir Zero
Yes they are. The only differences will be on the packaging, the instructions, and TakaraTomy's version is a Headmaster (and not a Titan Master). Other than that everything else is expected to be the same.

I havent bought a toy at US retail aka brick and mortar store in a long long time , despite me being in US retail stores everytime I go back to the USA, so really cant say as I cant compare but amazon is always cheaper than say BBTS or TF source other US based online stores. If your ordering direct from amazon and not a third party seller .
Here in Fukuoka I have never ever seen a Trasformer toy cheaper on store shelves ( unless its in the clearance bin ) than the best price on Amazon Japan ( best price meaning pre-orders made early enough where the price guarantee takes into effect ) . I have only lived here for 15 years though and dont frequent toy stores at all , so the occasional times I walk into a Toys r us, or a trial, or a Aeon Shopping mall, the price is always always way more expensive than the pre-order price on Amazon Japan is ( again if ordered early enough where you get the price guarantee to work for you ).
amazon japan first post prices that are expensive but sometime in the next two months the price hits the lowest and then goes back up until its release, so to get the best price you have to pre-order on day one. This has never failed me. Aagain this is for voyager and below though. Everything bigger than that just has been cheaper to import if you pre-order on day one.
lord ginrai
So you did! My bad for not noticing you said TT directly. Yeah I was talking about Amazon US too. That's a great price for Trypticon. Do they usually sell figures for below retail price? I'm all for finding the cheapest option
Yeah I can't imagine anyone ever buying from TT Mall, except for exclusives. Retail stores always sell for well below MSRP here.

Anyone know if takara scorponok and Hasbro scorponok are the same colors?
jamarmiller
so………
1. I said direct from Takara tomy not Amazon, (Direct from Takara Tomy is Takara Tomy Mall)
2 . I said from Amazon US not retail
please read my post again because it looks like you didnt read it carefully but to go down your line of thinking with the correct stuff , I said.
I got scorponok for $149 from amazon USA ( if it goes lower then it will be cheaper with the price guarantee ) , I ordered two of him , one for both of my kids, and with shipping to japan it came out to $340 dollars. So yes its cheaper than Amazon Japan. AMazon Japan would be about 200 dollars for just one, but this only works on stuff bigger than a voyager. Voyager and below is a few bucks cheaper when ordering on Amazon Japan when shipping to Japan, as it should be. Problem now is that only a few releases are coming on Amazon Japan and so you have like half of the line being sold by takara tomy mall site which is clearly more expensive than importing.

What happened to the MPM reveals for this year????
arent we supposed to get Ratchet and Starscream? If so I need to see Ratchet ☹️☹️☹️
RinAldo
Great for the fact that by this summer we will complete Devstator… but I don't understand why, the Skipjack recolor did not come out before Scrapper on this year's list!
lord ginrai
You mean including shipping?
Scorponok is gonna retail at $160 in the states and I think shipping for Titans is around $50. While he should only cost around ¥18,000 on AMZ Japan after the 30%+ discount.
Unless you mean if you wait for a sale in the US.
jamarmiller
YEAH WITH THE BIG GUYS ESPECIALLY , its cheaper to buy from amazon US and import your stuff to Japan, than to buy direct from Takara. Now, the voyager size and below, are about the same but you have to wait months and months after the US release, so I think most people are just ordering from the USA amazon site and importing the stuff
Jerrimus
I love Takara’s prices for the same product. I wonder how many fans still only buy their products (U.S) just because. I could understand before when they’d do a better deco. But geez.
Insert hate….
Here
lord ginrai
It's the same price as previous Titan Class figures. All transformers are more expensive over here. Like you said though, the price these things actually sell for in stores is always (up to 33%) lower than MSRP.
DecepticusPrime
Has takara released the arcee trio yet
ziltama
Depends on which part of the world you live in. In the US, only Nemesis Prime needed to be imported. In Japan, you needed to import a lot of exclusive figures if someone there wanted everything.
PoptiOptimime
Other than Nemesis Prime, were there any other ones you recall from Siege? He’s the only one I didn’t get ahold of… and he’s like $65-100, yikes.
