I don't know 60 minutes to talk about 30 years.

Will they reveal any toys in the Beast Hunters panel or just talk about the show?

Technically, yeah Soundwave and Acid Storm (it is both, correct?) will be available at Comic Con, just not from the Hasbro booth.
That said, Transformer Comic Con exclusives haven't really leaned in the hardcore collector-oriented direction that Masterpieces fall under, and I can understand why Hasbro wouldn't as well. Transformer exclusives have largely been, of late, early releases of upcoming products with slight differences or previously canceled releases that see new life. Hasbro esclusives in general are stuff you'd see at retail anywhere and don't share the same level if engineering as Masterpieces. Hasbro's trying to attract the mainstream collector (and largely just a mainstream audience in general now as the demographics of the event have changed) rather than the diehard Transfoemers collector, so they can offer stuff like what we do see offered and still sell out of all stock made.

Soundwave doesn't count?

As a regular Botcon attendee, I would love more reveals, but I would think it's foolish of Hasbro to release big information at Botcon rather than SDCC. Let's be honest, just about everyone who attends Botcon will tune in for SDCC news, but most people who attend SDCC won't tune in for Botcon news.

It makes more business sense to release save info for SDCC. Face it, if someone is going to Botcon and probably spent $300+ on exclusive toys there, they are already Transformers fans who will more then likely buy Hasbro's items anyways. They are already hooked. What Hasbro wants to do is get NEW fans. People that might just have a passing interest in TFs might see the SDCC reveals and decide to buy it. If they like it, they might buy more. Hasbro has gained a customer.

I only care for Whirl and Armada Starscream.
So if we don't get to see them, or get any new info on the IDW's Dark Cybertron event I'm not really interested.

I am surprised there is not a masterpiece release at sdcc this year. metroplex is a big deal but for collectors the mp stuff is always exciting

For regular Botcon-goers that can't make it to SDCC, I can understand if that is irritating, especially if we get more jaw-droppers concerning the 30th anniversary at SDCC…
…but on the other hand, I understand if Hasbro is starting to lean toward making big announcements at SDCC because it's, well, SDCC. That said, I think the scheduling and falling to so close to SDCC didn't help Botcon. I was surprised there were as many reveals as there were (Rhinox, Waspinator, Skids). I don't know what Botcon can do to try and change that since that shift, if it is happening, is totally a Hasbro thing that Botcon can't get them to budge on. Even then though, based on the reveals that did occur, I don't think people should get too concerned yet.
Yeah, even if there's more to come, it's not like Botcon was completely barren regarding exciting reveals.
I DO think it would be nice if Hasbro could offer a whole 30 minutes or even 50-60 for just Q&A, giving more time for questions. Another thing would be getting TakaraTomy to send someone over to discuss their Transformer plans, but that may be a pipe dream, unfortunately.

I think BotCon actually had most of the reveals and don't forget was the first place to see many of them in person (including the SDCC goodies) although I was disappointed there was no Q&A.

It seems odd that so many are butt sore over the idea that BotCon isn't the hub for all major reveals nor is it as important to Hasbro that it be that. What it is though is a great place for trans-fans to meet, congregate, shake hands and bitch about toys. Does it really need to be the one and true source for all TF related secrets and news? Let it go folks. Not to negate BotCon but perhaps it's just not the only place where Hasbro chooses to share news and late breaking reveals.

I find that the fandom can have a difficult time differentiating wild speculation from actual substantiated rumors. There has been no official mention of a Gen 1 Generations Arcee yet.
Starscream NZ
There's rumours of Gen Arcee?
Torque
Does that bother anyone else immensely?

Ah, cool. Thanks for the info. I think Vangelis called it a Voyager on the podcast so I wasn't sure
Ra88
Deluxe. The voyagers shown were Doubledealer, Rhinox and Whirl.

Minor complaint, but as someone who does go to SDCC, I wish the Hasbro panels could get slotted in on Friday or Saturday. I try to nab the exclusives I want first thing but that usually means (if I can actually get in line on Thursday) that I miss the Hasbro Transformer panels because my morning/afternoon are concentrated on exclusives (same for GI Joe fans when they've had panels around the same time in the same room). It'd be nice to be able to pick up toys on Thursday or even Friday and still have a shot to catch the Hasbro panel in-person the next day, rather than know going one route means you'll have to pass on the other for Thursday.
(Of course, if they cut off the line for Thursday because Hasbro hands out too many tickets, as has happened each of the past couple years if memory serves, that pretty much solves that dilemma pretty quickly.)
BenjaminXavier
Did we ever figure out if the Armada Starscream is a Voyager or Deluxe?
Autovolt 127
This might be the very place that it is rumoured Generations Arcee will make her world debut.
JAYSCREAM
hoping for any master piece news.
