Reports are coming in about the next Masterpiece figure from Japan.
According to Joel from BigBadToyStore.com, who called it “MP-10”
[INDENT]We’ve just received word from Japan that the Transformers MP-10 will be released in September, the retail price in Japan is 22,000 yen, we have preorders listed at $249.99
The name has currently not yet been released, but we were told it is a ‘New’ figure and the name will be revealed soon.

Damn, I just learned of this figure. Holy shit, a smaller MP Optimus. I'm very conflicted now. $250 is a lot, but will a Hasbro version be complete? I kinda hate how much MP figures have inflated.

I'm pretty sure Spike's at his own scale based on comparing the pic of him in Prime's cab to my MP-01 and HA humans. It looks like the Spike/MP10 ratio is the same as the MP-01/HA ratio…

This new MP Optimus looks pretty good, but I'm not crazy about the cheating going on with the transformation. And with the disappointment I had with my MP Rodimus I don't see me dropping $250 for this new figure.
Right now one thing is for sure this looks to be the first Masterpiece that I'm going to be waiting on the Hasbro release. Hopefully a 3rd party company will make replacement exhaust stacks for the Hasbro version.

People, including at least one Mod, have pointed out it probably means the gun, since the Gun is above it.
I still prefer my MP-01, he just needs his Component Parts, which I hope this new iGear trailer will be released, hopefully when I have money to get it; then I'll have no need for this new Prime w/ a funny back end in cab mode & weird feeling legs.

I am assuming that this actually means the trailer, like Rodimus did. It would make sense, as this is the 'convoy' part and clearly the text has gone through an automated translator.
Thats my thinking. I will hold off on this as its nice, but not extra nice or different enough to pick up at the release price. UM as this though would rock.
