As far as I know livio has done his own colors with his art. At least he did at one stage
ZeroiaSD
He's good *when* he has time to work and isn't rushed (unlike much of CW). And he's improved in general over time.

Man, I like the Throttlebots… I don't want to see 'em die…

To be fair, Freeway and Wideload could have died in Spotlight: Metroplex when Sixshot shot Wideload and jumped on Freeway. It'd be a bit stupid when Goldbug was shot clean through the torso and lived, and Chase was also blasted and lived, but at least it was on panel. If Sixshot died off-panel (and I admittedly am holding out hope I'm interpreting the dialogue wrong), that really is bad writing though. If they do a flashback showing him die, it'll be a little better. But bringing him back just to kill him is still poor story telling, and one of the biggest things I hated about Marvel and DC's event comics – where they'd bring back characters from long absences just to use them as canon fodder to show how edgy or serious the event was.
Lionheart
I mean yeah most characters only have an impact on the story they're featured in because they're within the story. It's kind of hard to change things when your MIA unless your a master at 4D chess like Shockwave and Onyx. Personally I just think it is terrible writing because of how anticlimactic and lazy it is to just write a villain off, off panel. This is the THIRD sixphaser to go out in the most disappointing way possible and to add salt to the wound, it really was clear Sixshot was meant to return when Spotlight: Metroplex was written. Nobody in the thread would be this asspained if Metroplex just squished him and ended his life there but the Spotlight gave hope due to Sixshots fist clenching showing that he was indeed, alive. If the latter was not shown to the reader we wouldn't be having this salt extravaganza.
Also two Throttlebots just died off panel as well…For what purpose?
Megastar
That's not terrible writing and let's be honest here, nobody was doing anything Sixshot and he could have stayed MIA till IDW lost the TF license and it wouldn't have changed anything.

As one of only about four people who actually like Ramondelli's art, consider me excited.
SG Roadbuster
ramondelli's art on the cover is the exact reason why i refused to buy that blu ray
Zylly103
I'm usually pretty "meh" on Ramondelli's art, but this and a couple of the last ones he did (the Combiner Wars aftermath was really good, for example), he's growing on me.
Rotorstorm
Not a big fan either, but we
're still far away from the hard to follow 'Chaos' issues. I think it's the washed out colours more than anything else, maybe it might look better with a different colourist?
That said, owning the steelbook bluray of the 86 movie, it depresses me I'm stuck with that cover.
Could be worse though, we could have the Ongoing Movie faces back again *shudder*
Lionheart
Not caring about it doesn't really change the fact that it's still terrible writing.
Megastar
I guess i'm in the minority here, becusce I couldn't care less if Sixshot is alive or killed off panel.
BB Shockwave
And yeah, Ramondelli again. Whom is this guy sleeping with that they still give him jobs? I mean, I certainly have not seen his work on any other comic for sure. People in other companies probably have a preference for actually being able to make it out what the heck they are reading.
And even after the release of Chase\'s TR Legends toy, this comic STILL confuses his and Searchlight\'s head design. Sigh…
Also, as I recall in the comic, Freeway and Wideload survived in the end.
SG Roadbuster
great story (so far) ruined by ramondelli's "art"
BB Shockwave
So they killed Sixshot off-screen? That\'s what we had to wait for what, 4-5 years for them to finally continue this story? Disappointing.
YoungPrime
……………..Yeah, what are the odds that he's alive and calling himself Greatshot now like Drift!
YoungPrime
My only hope is that they've kept him alive only to give him Quick-switch and Greatshot clones.
Otherwise does Barber really think the greatest of autobots fan who read his books care more about Throttlebots than Sixshot?
Lionheart
Si
Sixshot is appealing because there were signs of being a redeemable character.
zeroblue2099
Yeah.
But I care more about Freeway and Wideload. Kinda of soured on the idea of the invincible Decepticons after the end of MTMTE. I liked Sixshot more than Tarn and Overlord though.
ultramagnus1
The throttlebots might think he's dead.
But he's not.
He may be killed this issue though.
