Here’s something you don’t see everyday. Santos Churata; a huge fan of the Transformers franchise uses his passion to design of eye-catching houses for the rich.
“Churata says that he has been a fan of superhero and robot comics and movies for as long as he can remember, and that his life-long passion has given him all kinds of interesting ideas for architectural design. Santos is not a professional architect, but claims to have mastered the necessary skills to design and build large, intricate houses by working alongside his father, an actual architect, since he was 16 years old. After seeing his previous work, clients don’t really care about his degree, and trust him to build them the most eye-caching homes imaginable.
Santiago Churata’s first house was built in the Alentejo neighborhood, and themed after Sentinel Prime. The facade was done in red, blue and silver and featured reflective black window shaped like robotic faces. The silver doors are shaped like the popular logo of the autobots, which also appears engraved into the floor.”

Yeah. Didn't look at the original posting date and thought this was new. Wonder how these houses are doing now?

Resurrecting this thread, but he died last year. Muere Santos Churata, padre de los «edificios transformer»
Rest in power (my main non-TF fandom is 1950s-60s music so the 2020s have been rough in general)

Oh wow… I completely forgot about this thread.
I'll take it though, thank you. Most certainly one of my better posts

Since this zombie thread was resurrected, I just want to say that this is an excellent post and really deserved more than the 20 likes it got, especially given the number of posts that tried to piggyback on it (less successfully). Bravo.

It seems like living inside a blister card. I was expecting an Ark replica.
Hm. Now I’m imagining sheets designed to look like an 80s blister card with an empty bubble. I dunno why that appeals to me but I see a market there. His and hers G.I.Joe and Cobra The Enemy pillows or Autobot and Decepticon towels.

Nah. Too many QC problems. Look at their Star Convoy house. The blasted doors wouldn't even shut.

UT fans need to pay off their student loans before they can afford their Minicon house. Or any house….
