Is this petition implying that relationships are at stake if Blastoff does not transform into a shuttle?
LordGigaIce
I guess I just don't see the point to this? Slingshot and Wildrider came out, as did Groove. Chances are we'll see Hasbro release shuttle Blast Off in some form or another eventually.
MatrixOfWumbo
An intact body is enough to keep alive with basic medical procedures. I don't kown that they necessarily needed to preserve his spark, when they could have just repaired his body. Fort Max was in a coma for 4 years, it seems likely that Sentinel could have been out for that long as well. The noteworthy thing is that his whereabouts seem to have been unknown up to this point.

We had a better look at Blast Off on TAAO #1's cover months ago:
He's a stylised version of the Quickslinger redeco (note the shoulder design and the yellow chest vests) with a faceplate added. The sides and top of his head are still Quickslinger's, even. Chances are he turns into a jet, though the kibble behind his head is conspicuously missing.
Autobot Hound
I am so glad he does look right. Faceplate and violet optics, check!
Now to see if he's a jet or shuttle, haven't been able to tell. (Hoping for shuttle).
Turakonin Prime
Blastoff and his JET mode or Shuttle? Hmm. I'll bet comics say shuttle in the fall.

I agree with you on Livio, I've never had an issue with his artwork, and even though I understand peoples issues with it, they take it to the extremes sometimes. I still really enjoy Don Figueroa's art quite a lot as well. I also agree with your assessment of Scott's writing, voting with you're wallet is the best idea, there are already people doing that.
But I'd prefer to have Mike Costa or even Shane McArthy, rather than Mairghread Scott. In a better world, Nick Roche would have been the 3rd ongoing writer. I still go back and enjoy reading the previous ongoing by Costa and Chaos, and I still enjoy All Hail Megatron a lot. I go back and read Scott's older stories, and their just… boring. I have a strong feeling the reason Combiner Wars was so "meh" compared to Dark Cybertron, was because it was Barber working with Scott and DC was Barber and Roberts, two better writers.

Don't get the big problem with Livio's art. I really like it, it might have been a little too dark initially but think it's really improved and love the moody, painterly and epic feel it gives me reading the books. I agree IDW do have a load of other talented artists on the books, but a couple of folks mentioned they'd rather have Sarah stone – no way I would. I think her art is quite pretty and think I'd really like covers or posters by her but her panel work in the comics I really didn't rate, especially the action scenes. I could not really get what was supposed to be going on in the fights and thought they all looked really disjointed, hard to follow and unrealistic. I guess it didn't help that Scott was writing who IMO turned out to be one of the worst writers TF has had and who's work I'll never give a penny of my money for again. I do love guido, casey coller and su and think Milne and the two other girls are Probs too busy doing other bits at the minute so I'm happy to have Livio back. Would much rather him than don Figueroa and that horrible movie style (funny cos back in storm bringer days he was one of my faves).
Let's hope the combaticons aren't portrayed as quite the morons they were in those god awful Costa stories!
Oh and to whoever mentioned foreshadowing in the MTMTE cover, do you mean the crying eyes in the Titans?

Funny, Blast-Off looks like Blast-Off. Guess Brown Slingshot isn't IDW Blast-Off like people were saying.

I'm very curious to see how Sentinel will approach Optimus with his meeting with him. From what I've heard of IDW Sentinel I have a feeling that while not an outright villain he wouldn't exactly be quite a friendly and understand bot to be around. Would make for some great conflict all right.
LordGigaIce
Yeah, Prowl was Sentinel's right hand 'bot. Orion Pax was actively opposing Sentinel, and only really sided with the Autobots once his buddy/mentor Zeta became Prime.
And I could totally see Prowl keeping Sentinel's spark alive in the event that any of his successors refused to do what Prowl thought was necessary to defeat the Decepticons. Sort of a "backup Prime" if Optimus met with an unfortunate "accident." And hey, Combiner Wars happened so who knows?
Sockie
That would make no sense at all, especially when solicits make it clear Sentinel is only just back (exRiD's here outright says that he's "newly-revived").
Predakwon
Earliest now is Oct since all of Sept's books are up on Amazon.
Honesty
I reall friggin' hope so. Because either way, Perfect Effect Warden will always be my headcanon FortMax. I have negative zero plans to get the Metroplex retool.
And ugh .. Sentinel Prime is coming back .. Ruh-roh .. I really hope he isn't Tarn. I know it's for TF and not MTMTE, but he could always be revealed and slip on over to the other comic (ex-RiD). I hope it's still the heavily hinted-at Roller
hendrijr
I'm guessing the third faction and all those organics they've been storing will play a huge role in the masters process.
Magnus’ Mate
Sigh. Still no UK Classics v6….
WilyMech
Hmmm it is Prowl who supported Sentinel Prime. I was under the impression at least with Orion Pax and Optimus Prime had mix feelings. I am just curious.
I suspect that the Scavengers will be involved with Luna 1. I mean they did have a run in with Fortress Max already. It would make sense that Crankcase, Spinister, and Misfire were involved with Binary Bond process way back in Marvel. If they are going do the Spike and Fortress Max route. I mean poor Fort Max he gets the human version of Prowl as a partner in IDW.
Chris McFeely
Yeah, it's like… they never SAY he's dead at the end of Megatron Origins, but his body's lying RIGHT there, and he's never mentioned again and there's a new Prime soon after, so, like, what you are SUPPOSED to think? It's logical to assume he died, but there's at least some wiggle room for this story to not be a problem.
hendrijr
Is Megatron origins not canon anymore? I thought he obviously killed Sentinel at the end of that.
Fenrir Zero
Wasn't the only way to perma-kill them is by ripping out its spark and destroying that? Or just let it die on its own? Because it, to me, sounds like somebody intervened and kept his spark alive.
