X-Transbots have updated their website to include a new image on the slideshow at the top of the page. The new image shows an unofficial version of Wheelie, which we presume will be the next entry into the MasterMini series following the release of Huffer and Pipes. Rumor has it this one will be named Ollie, but there is presently no further information on the X-Transbots website to confirm this.

I thought all of them were + after the original disaster LOL

I got mine in 2021 FWIW. I think I was thinking mine was a v4 because of his MM-4+ designation. Either way the lil mofo had some floppy legs and a nice face.

The v1 had different parts, so if you use the pic scrubber on this thread, that one should at least be easy to spot. The other releases were mostly the same. Starting with the v2 improvements, the only differences I've been able to spot are some of the newer ones have the grey chest instead of orange and some of them have different color/opacity windows… Since some retailers will list it as "2022/2023/2024" there's not really a v. and even some of those get sold as "2023 release" when it's just old v2 stock. Don't count on the product pages to indicate what you're going to get. This is the most random figure that has probably ever been released lol

My "v2" had horribly disfigured faces, but the rest of him was pretty good. I was trying to get one of the newer v2 with the grey chest, but BBB canceled my order because they couldn't fill it… and when they finally got stock several months later, I didn't really care anymore lol

At least loose balljoint hips are a fairly easy fix. But yeah my Ollie of the most recent batch has loose legs too.
Blingotron
Honestly I have no idea unless it has a date on the box but even then it might not matter. His legs/hips were always an issue that was supposed to have been fixed in the v4 (IIRC) but the legs on mine were extremely loose.
It's still a great figure and worth buying but they ball joint hips were a huge mistake.

Ahh ok.. How do I tell which version is which?
Blingotron
Very typical and I have the latest regular version of him (v4 I think) and his legs were very loose. I had to end up putting a layer of paper towel in his hip joints to make them stiff enough. Floor polish, nail polish and super glue didn't work somehow.

digging up an old thread, might pick this guy up off Ebay to go with my OSKO MP Grimlock, listing says his legs are loose, is this a typical thing? I'm guessing some Future will fix it. I'm buying him purely for sitting on Grimlock, so transforming him ain't a priority.

And yet, someone at RoC thinks clear figures look like Gummy Bears to the point that they included a Gummy Bear head. Don't think I've seen an image with the bear head yet. Maybe it should show up here for future generations to appreciate/mock.

I suppose they're somewhat close. The more I compare, XTB did a pretty nice job with that head.
So for a run of 350 figures x $100 = $35,000 it is possible to get Keith to customize a figure's head for you. Good to know.

I will start by admitting my hands on experience with translucent transformers is limited due to lack of interest, but I have never once thought of them as looking like Jolly Ranchers or Gummy Bears. Even with the thought in my head now I can't see it.
I recognize you are just serving as messenger here (you may or may not agree), just quoting for ease of others figuring out why I'm even typing such a nonsensical sentence. Though I guess nonsensical is on brand for Wheelie.

Quantities produced:
Clear colorless = 30
Orange = 150
Purple = 150
There was also a really cool artwork made as an homage to Transformers #70 written by Simon Furman which had cover art showing Ratchet and Megatron melded together with "Help Us" on a yellow notepad. "Is it Sticky", is a pun referencing translucent clear plastic transformers looking like sticky Jolly Ranchers or Gummy Bears.

Wheelie say, "why do you feel this way?"
DrCalligari
Sorry, I wasn't accurate. 35 were made of the uncolored clear ones. The purple and orange had much higher runs. Not sure how man but significantly more.

I hate blind bag/box so much. I realize this one is more RoC's fault that XTB's, but it reminds me of the blind box seekers XTB advertised a couple of years ago so I'm not letting XTB off the hook completely.
Too lenient, let Wheelie die completely instead, not just this mold.
WyldeBill
Pleas let this mould die!

35 of each color? That's still a super small run. If you really need all 3 colors and they're blind-boxed for $100 then that's going to get expensive for the Wheelie completists out there. Still, I guess you can demand your own price on e-Bay if you don't like the color you got.
My Ollie is fine sitting up on top of Grimlock for The Movie display. Never saw Nelson offered after 2022 and I didn't look that hard because I'm not huge into adding Shattered Glass to my collection. Cool, but not necessary for me.
DrCalligari
They were commissioned by the Realm of Collectors group. Ollie has been adopted as their mascot. Last year they did the Shattered Glass version. This year is the clear ones. They're blind boxed, limited number (only 35 clear ones). $100 at the Con. Or included if you ordered a Roc Box from the group ahead of BotCon.

More versions of Ollie are now out at Botcon 23. Realm of Collectors has these as blind bag figures. One of three clear versions.

Anyone attending BotCon 23 this weekend have one in hand or any more information?

tbh, they probably won't scrape the paint that way It really does look nicer when he's facing forward, too!
