More Headrobots news! After todays reveals of Darksol, Savant and Courageous, the 3rd Party Group decided not to stop. They’ve updated their Facebook page with new images of Ronin (ROTF Banzaitron Upgrade kit) and new images of Tauros (Generations Skullgrin upgrade kit) have been uploaded via their Twitter. These new pics show some of the functions of the weapons. Tauros’ sword can be stored in vehicle mode and Ronin’s sword and cannon can be combined for stabbing AND shooting action. The group also adds a disclaimer, that these are not final images of the new products and that they will most likely change before release.

Hey they had to make the heads incompatible they have a reputation for gross arrogance to maintain don't they.
Slimaximus
good question HR has been pretty quiet lately, still wish they would make their Trailbreaker
trence5
is there a targeted release date for these yet?
lucas maximus

He'll ya me too

anyone know when HR's Ronin is due to drop? I saw Vange1us's review
I WANT IT!

Well, it'd be nice if FP's Hadmasters accomodated the same design everyone else uses, that's for sure. But that's neither here nor there in regards to the topic.

FansProject doesn't make "Headmasters", they make incompatable heads that fit nothing but each other. Headrobots, Junkion Blacksmith and Toyworld make Headmasters.

Well … they aren't the only game in town anymore in regards to Headmasters and even FP is likely to beat them in regards to releasing figures. Although I still want their take on Mindwipe and I'm down for their Skullgrin, Headrobot's is their own worst enemy because they just can't get their ideas out the door fast enough. A great example is their Trailbreaker. I think a lot of people would have bought that before Hasbro released their version.
They seem like a VERY small company. And other companies are willing to take greater risks. Even Unique Toys, really. They have a full 5 member combiner. I have to compare that unfavourably to HR's decision not to press forward with their Dark Scorpinok add-ons. Their caution is probably because they can't afford to lose out on even one of their products, but they are timing themselves right out of sales.

Same here. Its gonna be a long time before the ones for mw and sh pop up and by themn…I'm pretty sure ill have lost interest. Especially with other third party companies on board producing full figure headmasters. Its too bad they are such a small group in this industry as their designs are unique and fresh.
rbarron64
Agreed. I picked up a sky hammer and mind wipe just for these sets

I was just wondering to myself yesterday if they were still around…particularly w FP/TW doing Headmasters, did they lose their niche? I really liked what they had shown for their Savant and to a lesser extent, Darksol…we'll see I guess.
Dansproject
I can't add anything to that! Um…word?

Tauros is actually kind of neat… and makes me not want to get rid of Skullgrin now… hm…

Long live HR!

Interesting sorta-news. People say that Headrobots is attending the third party party outside Botcon put on by Captured Prey. Be nice to hear from them again, as they seem to have gone silent for a half hear. Last we heard from them they said Ronin was their next release.

Well at this point of time, I guess having a transformable drone is more priority than weapons upgrade. (At least for me)
I hope we're getting one afterall.
daytimeninja
Blood DX will most likely be the next release after Centurion, but hopefully Ronin will be shortly after that!
Fast_Draw
More teases! I'm very interested in both.

Even more headrobots goodness. I've been all in with these guys since I got the little cobra headmaster a few years back.
