Continuing our recent string of Transformers figure leaks is a new one coming to us this morning from Daimchoc, this time of the upcoming Legacy Evolution Deluxe Crosscut!
As many had expected, Crosscut is indeed a reuse of the Skids/Burnout mold painted in his OG silver and red color scheme. He’s shown off here in his bot and vehicle modes along with a look at his accessories.
Check it out after the break!

I switched out to front half on the front tire with Skids', i'm not skilled enough to do the other half.

May 5! Dang! Same month with MP DiaBurnout

Reason to not use the soldering iron, you could hit the side walls of the hole the pin is in and mar the plastic in a visible spot, and also lose some material from the part the pin needs to friction into if it melts too much The method I used is super easy and you don't risk melting anything.

Shoulder wheels are actually in two halves. The “inner” half is pinned, but the older half is just a clipped. If you don’t mind the two-tone from certain angles, you can just do that.
For de-pinning, I think a soldering iron is the correct way
Skids needs Crosscut’s red fists. And Crosscut looks fine with Skids black fists. Clean swap
I don’t think either looks good with red tires which leaves someone in the dust

I did. It was more difficult than I thought and also easier than I thought it would be. The trick was heating the shoulders first. Without heat, it was damn near impossible. I used my little cube space heater that has a fan in it. I just set the parts in front of it for like 30 minutes and used a small driver I have where I can swap out the bits and inserted a small hex bit about the same diameter as the pin and once the shoulders were hot, put them in a towel and pushed from the inside center of the rims. Popped them right out. First time I tried them they wouldn't budge at all at room temperature. I then used a small hand clamp with a nylon cap for woodworking on one side and a small magnet on the other to squeeze the pins back in after heating them again. I used a magnet so the footprint would be small so I wouldn't gouge the plastic. In all I could do the swap in like, five minutes now that I know what I'm doing, lol.

How'd you swap the shoulder wheels, did you have to pop the pin?

You inspired me, lol. Glad you liked it. ^_^

Wasn't expecting a quote from a post this old but it is a very welcome one.

BTW, Crosscuts all black grill and bumper looks amazing on Burnout once you paint in the lower lamps.

Oddly enough, so did I, lol. I would prefer red rims though.
Rodimus Prime
I liked the red wheels.

Not really as hotshots is his cannon able to be from behind to above him and Leo primes has his head guns and arm claws for their Evo fusion gimmicks. They apparently are all meant to have them. The weapon combination was for legacy's first year

Now there's nothing special and unique….
…Show us what the red wheels look like on the other guy, you coward!!!
Shattered Trousers
Looks good with black tyres, like a real car you'd see zipping around in the city.

Yes, absolutely.

And that's why they went with red wheels! Would it look any better with Crankcase wheels??

Its probably a case of will people who may not pick up another repaint be swayed if it came with Steeljaw. Studio series has started the cassette man mold with Rumble(blue!) and we know Frenzy is coming so Eject and Rewind will surely follow in this range. So im thinking either Ramhorn or Steeljaw will sway the Twincast sales, which Hasbro would find more profitable. We'll see soon enough.
