Once again, Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts director Steven Caple Jr has treated us with more never-seen-before material from the movie. This time, he updated his Instagram account with some “Behind The Scenes” images of Noah (Anthony Ramos) wearing his exo-suit and storyboards of it. He also confirms the nod to the classic G1 Daniel and Spike exo-suit.

As a great follow up of Collider’s interview with Chris Hemsworth about his role as Optimus Prime’s voice in “Transformers One”, now they have shared another article and video, now featuring Scarlett Johansson who talks about the upcoming new animated movie.
Transformers One will tell the origin story of the relationship between young Optimus Prime and Megatron on their home world of Cybertron, exploring how they ultimately fell apart on different sides of a conflict. Scarlett Johansson, who plays Elita-1 in Transformers One, sat down with Collider’s Steve Weintraub to share here comments about this project.
“Yes, I’m playing Elita. I’m working with Josh Cooley, who is an incredible writer-director who I adore and have worked creatively with in another capacity. The film doesn’t look like anything I’ve ever seen before, it looks so cool! The texture of it is so awesome. And because Josh wrote it, it just feels very… I don’t know, it’s got a very dramatic feeling about it. It’s funny, but it’s got so much heart to it like all of his stuff does. I think it’s a different way of approaching this IP. I think it stands on its own, it’s pretty exciting.”

Collider has just shared an article and video where Chris Hemsworth talks about his role as Optimus Prime’s voice in “Transformers One”.
Officially revealed at Cinemacon 2023, “Transformers One” will be an animated origin story featuring a young Optimus Prime and Megatron before they became the leaders we all know. Chris Hemsworth talks about what we could expect from his version of Optimus Prime:
“No, I mean, we talked about this; the Optimus Prime that you hear on the screen in the films is an older, mature… you know, he’s been around for many, many, many, many years. This is the sort of origin story, so it’s the younger version of him. So there are sort of hints and colorings that hopefully resonate enough with the Optimus Prime we know, but it is a youthful version of him, and different. But he won’t be Australian.”
Also, he commented about how he got involved in this project:
“It looks incredible. I love the script. That was one where I was not sure, I hadn’t done animation before, and then I mentioned it to my kids, and they went, “Oh yeah, that’s awesome!” It’s been really fun putting down some of the dialogue and weaving it in with the early days of the animation. It’s cool, it’s exciting. It’s Optimus Prime, come on!”

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura and director Steven Caple Jr. seemingly confirmed a greenlighted sequel for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.
“We’re also not through with the Maximals, so I imagine in the next movie we’ll have Maximals, Autobots, and Joes.” says Mr. di Bonaventura.
Caple, speaking with EW separately, confirms he’s deep into developing the Rise of the Beasts sequel. “It is definitely gonna incorporate some Joes characters, but it won’t go into, maybe, the true origins of the Joes.”
“The idea of trying to do the whole Joe world at the same time is a little daunting,” Di Bonaventure confirms. “This is a way to bring them into our world, remind people of who they are, and they’ll have a role in the plot.”

While Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts is already in theaters in the US and other parts of the world, the premiere in Japan will be until August 4th in Japan. Toho Cinemas has announced a lottery for an advance screening in July 11th for the Japanese public.
If you live in Japan, you just have to register in Toho Cinemas website. Winners will be contacted via e-mail.

Today is the first BIG day for the general public to see Transformers Rise of the Beasts in the US market. Early showings at various chains begin later today, and continue tomorrow leading into the official launch on Friday June 9th, 2023. We encourage anyone who’s seen the film to let us and all the TFW2005 members know what you thought! There are two ways you can do this. 1 – Leave a text based review with your thoughts, long/short, as you see fit. 2 – Just vote on the poll attached to the review thread, rating the flick from 1-10. You can do both of those things here (contains spoilers).
