TV Shows on DVD has put up a press release about the upcoming Transformers Cybertron DVD boxed set. The set is quoted as having a running time of 19 hours, across seven discs, and a recommended retail price of $61.99. There is still no word on any extras, if there are going to be any.

According to TVShowsOnDVD.com, this will be the front of the special slipcase for the 7-DVD set. The 7-DVD set contains 52 episodes with a total running time of 1184 minutes. No annoucement has been made if there will be any extras, or if there will even be any. Transfomers Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection is due out for release on July 22nd by Paramount Home Entertainment.

Transformers Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection DVD to be Released on July 22nd
TVShowsonDVD.com is reporting that Paramount Home Entertainment will be releasing Transformers Cybertron: The Ultimate Collection on July 22nd, 2008. This DVD box set will apparently contain the entire Cybertron series of 51 episodes. No box art or information on extras is available yet, but the DVDs will be presented in full screen format with at least English audio. The running time given for the contents is 19 hours and 4 minutes. We’ll update the news as box art and other information are released.

Transformers Cybertron Toys on Clearance at Target
Transformers Cybertron figures are on sale at Target stores. Extremely low clearance prices have started showing up at multiple stores around the US. Examples of the discount are $25 and $40 Cybertron figures marked down to 75% off. Members of our TFW2005 boards are picking up toys regularly priced at $40 like Metroplex and Optimus Prime for only $9 each. Scourge and Menasor have been marked down to 6 dollars each. Of course this will vary from store to store.

Transformers Attacktix – Update
Last week we reported that Transformers Attacktix figures were being pulled from the shelves of Walmart and Target stores. Since then we have learned that the figures being pulled are the Random Figure Booster Packs. These are being pulled to make room for both new Attacktix products (new releases) as well as upcoming movie product.
