Thanks to the “TRANSFORMERS TOYS” Facebook group, it would appear that the 5th and final member of Legacy Menasor, Breakdown, has been found in the US! The Facebook user reported the sighting from a Target in California, and said sighting also indicates that the rest of Wave 4 is out there too.

In a shocking turn of events, Hasbro has unveiled via backer emails that due to the campaign being the most successful Transformers Haslab project to date, we’ll be getting the two Autobot Micromasters Pipo and Boater! (Known by their American names, Fixit and Seawatch) which complete the Transformers Victory Micromaster Rescue Patrol Team together with Fire and Hori who were included with Victory Saber. These two are brand new molds and will be packaged with the mighty Deathsaurus alongside the weapons accessories and the throne and flight stand! The e-mail reads:
“Congratulations! We’re happy to announce that the Transformers Generations Deathsaurus HasLab project has met its backing goal and will officially go into production!
We just learned that the evil Deathsaurus has kidnapped Pīpō and Boater! Good news, Transformers fans! Your overwhelming support of this HasLab saved the two members of the Autobot Rescue Patrol Team from the clutches of the Decepticons!
As a THANK YOU for your support in making the Transformers Generations Deathsaurus campaign our most successful Transformers HasLab to date, each product will include Pīpō and Boater figures seen here:”

A fine way to start the week this early Monday morning as images of Deluxe Wheeljack and Nightbird from the upcoming Rise of the Beasts film have surfaced! In addition to this being our first look at their toys, this is also our first good look at their robot mode designs. To some surprise though, these two are supposedly straight from the ROTB line and not from Studio Series.
Update: Additional images added showing poseability, weapon storage, both modes from different angles and comparison shots with other WFC and Studio Series toys.

Hot on the heels of the highly-anticipated first trailer for Transformers Rise of the Beasts, we have news of who all will be joining the film’s main voice cast alongside the previously announced Peter Cullen, Ron Perlman, Michelle Yeoh, and Pete Davidson, via Deadline. For this reveal, we learn that David Sobolov, known for his previous work as Depthcharge and Prime Shockwave, will be voicing Rhinox and Battletrap, Peter Dinklage will fill the main villain role of Scourge, Liza Koshy will be our newest voice for Arcee, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez voices Nightbird, Cristo Fernández as Wheeljack, Tobe Nwigwe as Reek, and John DiMaggio, known for movie Crosshairs, lends his voice to Stratosphere!
Stratosphere and Reek’s roles in the film are currently undisclosed, especially if the former’s appearance and/or personality will align with his previous toy and video game representations, but stay tuned to TFW for more Rise of the Beasts news as the marketing die has been officially cast.
A quick update on the highly anticipated Transformers Haslab Deathsaurus, the project has now just pushed past 10,000 backers! At a little over 10,200, that means we need fewer than 800 to get this bad boy funded! Of course there are the bonus tiers still left to go, but with 3 weeks and 6 hours left to go it’s all looking very doable!
For those on the fence, remember that you can cancel anytime before the campaign ends or within the first 30 days after it ends so there’s plenty of room for flexibility if it doesn’t reach the tiers you want!
At long last, Legacy wave 3 deluxes have been spotted at US retail! While an unusual state for first sightings, this time they’ve been found at a Target in Florida. Dead End and Crankcase aren’t present, but Skullgrin and Pointblank are more than enough of a sign that new figures are upon us.

A fun little video for you all to enjoy today – Adam Savage of Tested (and formerly of MythBusters) has gotten his hands on the recently released auto-converting Optimus Prime figure by Robosen! While the figure has been released for some time, it’s still a massive feat of engineering and Adam is no stranger to those. He and his colleague, Norm provide a fun, insightful, and unique review and perspective on the most expensive, transforming figure yet and even take the robotics to their limits by showcasing some custom programs.

On October 6th, 2011 the sequel to the landmark Transformers: War for Cybertron video game was officially announced. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was set to take over the November issue of Game Informer with two different cover spreads, and full feature coverage inside which included first looks at some characters, environments, and the story to come. Two months later at the VGA Awards, the first cinematic trailer was released, giving the Transformers fandom and many others outside it confirmation that the High Moon team were going to deliver something incredible. As time went on since the game’s announcement, Hasbro and the developers flooded TF news outlets with game updates, behind-the-scenes looks, and toy reveals to keep the hype train sufficiently fueled. Finally, on August 21st, 2012, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was released in North America for Xbox 360, Play Station 3, and PC.
