We recently saw leaks for Bumblebee and Starscream, and now thanks to both TFW user Frosty Coffee and Facebook user Sonic Bomber-Core we have our first look at another figure for the upcoming Reactivate (previously known as Rise) video game, Optimus Prime!

The figure is shown off here in a gallery that displays his robot/truck modes, his accessories, some poses, plus a few size comparisons with other Primes and the Reactivate design we had seen before.

Continuing the behind the scenes looks tonight, Hasbro Transformers designer Sam Smith has now taken to his own Instagram to share some details on the newly-revealed Studio Series Bumblebee Movie Concept Megatron!

“SS-109 Bumblebee Movie Concept Megatron

I am ecstatic to finally be able to share our Leader Scale Concept Megatron. We officially came across this oddity while sifting through the CAD files from the Bumblebee movie, and discovered a wonderful unused design for Megatron. Originally the story was going utilize Megatron being frozen in ice, to help bridge the continuity gap to the Bayverse films, but the scene was eventually dropped, and this design disappeared. Luckily for us, we thawed it out and I was thrilled to be part of the team to help bring this figure to life.

We got to work on a vehicle design for Megatron. Like the majority of the BB Cybertronian alt modes, we wanted to utilize details that were present on the bot form, but still prioritize maintaining the look that they had on screen without sacrificing them for fantasy alt modes. This strategy has had some mixed success, but each new figure feels like a welcome addition to the line. Knowing that theatrical Megatron arrived on earth as a cybetronian jet, and later a tank in the first two Bayverse films, I was split between what alt form was most appropriate, but aiming for a tripleformer seemed most appropriate. I enlisted @santalux75 to conceptualize some vehicle looks for each of the modes, which we were able to take inspiration from for the final design.

I was able to partner with Yuya Onishi at Takara, who worked his magic to deliver a truly uncompromised robot mode from what ever direction you look at it. The articulation for this figure is unmatched by any other Transformer that I’ve had the opportunity to work on you can see the love that went into making this definitive version of Megatron.

Megatron’s fusion cannon can be folded and stowed on the figures back, and can be positioned in a couple of different orientations between the two vehicle modes. The figure is packed full of a heritage deco scheme that was pulled directly from the concept art.”

Hasbro Transformers designer Evan Brooks has taken to his Instagram to share a behind the scenes look at the new Studio Series Gamer Edition Voyager WFC Starscream:

“Hi Transformer fans!

I hope you all have been enjoying the Studio Series 2024 wave 1 reveals over at MCM London with @bmacatron84!

Next up for our Gamer Edition line is the WFC Starscream.

The figure comes courtesy of the marvelous Tomo san over at Takara Tomy.

Starscream comes equipped with his Null Ray and Energon mace, which were his starting load out on his levels. We’ve heard you all loud and clear and are making sure that all the WFC weapons going forward will also have a standard 5mm post so they can be held traditionally as well as being swapped on the arm.

I happen to have the older DLX TT figure for comparison and wanted to make sure everyone could see how we worked from the Game CAD.

Obviously, we enlarged the jet canopy slightly as that’s where the robot head and nose cone get stored during conversion.

He’s a very fun figure to play around with and I hope you all enjoy him as well!

Last thing to note is that his collar pieces are consumer assembled, so they come in the accessory tissue pouch. Just bringing it up so hopefully there isn’t any confusion when you open the box!

Via Hasbro’s Pulse Premium 1027 Event stream, Legacy United COMMANDER MAGMATRON has been revealed!

Appearing extremely accurate to his OG design, Magmatron is looking very impressive indeed here in his robot and beast modes.

In addition, the Stranger Things X Transformers crossover was shown off, along with United Silverbolt, confirmed as a Wave 2 US release.

Hasbro’s Mark Maher has once again taken to his Instagram to share with us a behind the scenes look at a new Transformers figure, this time Legacy United Deluxe Rescue Bots Chase!

I worked on this stern fellow with the amazing legend Kunihiro san! The magic that the Takara designers perform is hard to capture in words.
.
So a ways back at one of the Botcon’s I had the opportunity to do some sketches for fans at the Hasbro booth. I was really surprised how many people requested Rescue Bot characters. It always sat in the back of my mind as a thing I would love to do. The show is for a certain age group but honestly, its quite entertaining for all. Imagine older versions or graduated bots that have moved up in the autobot ranks and get to actually receive orders from Optimus. I hope a few of you have had that vision and dream of these great characters moving up into the big boy toys! What other perfect time then the 40th anniversary to accomplish these cool things in Transformers land.

I thought it essential to give him his energon capture claw to really lean into the character persona, but I also didn’t want him to be left with no blasters just in case things got hairy. The ability to take off each of the claw hooks and use them as some daggers in some tight hand to hand combat I felt was also necessary. After all, we are trying protect and serve the Autobot cause here and lets face it, Decepticons like Bludgeon definitely don’t play fair.

Deco and colors for this guy was really hard to accomplish due to the amount of different tint colors on him, I really enjoy how the two tone lightbar came out in production
.
Don’t forget to break out the other rescue big boy bots, cause standing alongside Red Alert here really makes me want to dig into some more. I couldn’t find my Medix so maybe next time those two can hang out, maybe get a coffee and a 🍩! 😎

Hasbro will be attending MCM London this year with a panel on Saturday, October 28 at 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM.

Among other things, the description states there will be reveals for Studio Series, and TFW’s Jtprime17 mentions it’s likely wave 1 of 2024’s lineup will be shown off here (as had been previously hinted at) with preorders going up shortly after on October 31.

Koki Yamada san has just been blessing these Legacy Generations figures and my excitement to work with him cannot be contained!

She does resemble her appearance in Cyberverse as I felt in my heart her character persona and features in that series really stood out. But, this figure adopts traits and style tidbits from her first generations figure and her appearance in the machinima series. I did peek at alot of the comic styles of her and the Legacy United fusion has welcomed this sleek, aerodynamic version of her to slice into your collection.

Move over Knockout, cause this heart throb is a fierce warrior with a plethora of abilities. Her stormfall sword will ignite with energon essence due to its shear power. Her tessen head fan actually has a special ability that can assist with her city speaker powers but I’ll let you all play that story out on your own! Her face deco came out so clean and gorgeous, I focus alot of energy towards head sculpts as I feel its what brings the soul of the character to life.

Please enjoy the rotating turbofans in this super sonic jet mode. The stormfall swords turbine hilt is able to be plugged into her side thigh and also can be utilized as a fire blast engine effect. Did I mention the cockpit seats that Koki san slipped in there, bringing them diaclone pilot vibes back into the mainstream is always welcomed.
