Transformers Power of the Primes Legends Class Wave 2 in Hand Images
Courtesy of Facebook pages of Planet Iacon and Singaporean Toy Store Robo Robo, we have some fresh new in package images of wave 2 Legends Class figures from Power of the Primes. It appears this wave consists of the three following figures: Roadtrip, Battleslash, and Autobot Tailgate. Roadtrip and Battleslash appear to be new molds with designs that are reminiscent of the Generation 1 Duocon Battletrap. Their bio on the back of the card reads “Terminate AUTOBOTS with his DUOCON partner BATTLESLASH / ROADTRAP“, hinting at their ability to combine. (New images from Planet Iacon now shows instructions and the two figures in combined mode). Meanwhile Autobot Tailgate appears to be a repaint and retool version of wave 1’s Windcharger figure, and more closely based on the character’s Generation 1 toy design. Check out the images of these brand new figures in package and Duocon Battletrap just released in Singapore after the break.

Unique Toys Reveal UT R-02 Challenger
New contenders are always coming up to the scene of third party toys, and Unique Toys has posted prototype images on their Weibo page of their newest contender titled UT R-02 Challenger, a homage to Optimus Prime as portrayed in the Transformers Live Action Film Age of Extinction and The Last Knight. Images of the grey prototype shows of a figure that transform from the Western Star 5700EX truck mode to a fairly model accurate robot mode. The figure appears to come with Optimus’ shield and Temenos Sword that can be pegged on the back in robot mode.
Unique Toys mentioned in their post that the figure will come with a diecast part that can be put in the figure’s chest, although they did not specify what that part is modeled after. More information will be revealed in an expo in Shanghai on the 28th according them, so stay tuned for latest update on this project. Until then, check out the prototype photos after the break.
Possible Transformers Power of the Primes Combined Mode Packaging Artwork
The next toy line in the Prime Wars trilogy, Power of the Primes, is right around the corner. On top of all the exciting reveals we have received thus far, here we have some possible packaging artwork of Abominus, and the rumored Voyager class figure Elita One and Inferno in their combined mode form from an informant on Weibo. These artwork carry a similar style as the illustration on the side of Voyager Starscream‘s box from Power of the Primes seen at previous conventions. In these illustrations, Elita One and Inferno are seen combined with Jazz and Slag respectively, which may suggest that they do not have dedicated combiner team around them.
Along with this artwork are images of one page of Abominus’ instruction booklet and some product images from wave 1 of Power of the Primes showing the accessories that comes with each figure. Check out that images after the break.
