Thank you all so much. I cancelled my BBTS preorder because I thought they weren't there, now the preorders are sold out again. It's probably for the best, I don't think I need this set anyway. I just love effects parts!

The effects part have the same fluorescent magenta color as some of the Netflix effects parts. Prefer them over the purple ones from Deathsaurus / dead Autobots set.

Starscream does not have blast effects, right? Early promotional images and photography had them, but none of the online listings mention them, and it doesn't look like it's shown on the box.

He does have blast effects, the review thread shows them.

Crimsonflame was widely sold on Asian storefronts. Got ours from RK, who is the one of the biggest distributors in HK.

It's still listed by Amazon Canada for sale and sold by Amazon CA themselves (~$24 USD). However, I don't believe they allow shipping to the US. One could use a proxy service but doubt that wound end up cheaper than getting it a little less than $40 shipped off Aliexpress (unless you know someone in Canada).

I was curious to how stock levels were holding up. It ends in a few days correct? Maybe Hasbro is waiting for the Expo to end before putting it up themselves. It’s kind of like the thing with anime blu rays. When a popular show releases in Japan, it’s usually 4 episodes per disc at a price point of Y7800-8000 +, the US release is the entire series in a set for $39.99. Trying to curb people from importing it back for a cheaper price.

I think Hasbro are waiting for Takara to tell them how much they have left, yes. They had so many at the event and no doubt more than what was in the G1 Building (yes the event building is called that).

Out of the 4, just Nemesis Prime is not fine out the box due to carrying over all the (major) issues from the base SS-102 OP mold. The rest are overall great sets that don't need extras. Glad Takara finally released the Jetfire-type blast effects in fluorescent magenta (same as Netflix blast effects) for the pink/purple hues.

TFSource, I guess, 'corrected' their Sentinel Prime price to $200 like everyone else. The Japanese resale sites would actually be more expensive as the reseller pricing adds about 10k yen; adding proxy and shipping costs on top of that would put it way over $200.

I wonder if SS-EX Core BB will actually remain a convention only figure. Sells for 1800 yen. There's varying degrees of mark-ups on the reseller sites; a little less than double is at the lower end. Mandarake has a used one for 1200 yen atm. I guess we'll see if Takara throws any up on TTMall after the convention is over.

From what I'm seeing, Thundercracker/Super Mode Starscream sells out the most frequently. But that may just be Canadian online e-tailers.

I was thinking sentinel sold out super fast, maybe that was Canadian for some reason
