The official Transformers 40th Anniversary Expo Twitter/X account have shared images and information about the new Transformers 40th Anniversary Official foldable containers.
This is quite an unexpected piece of official merchandise. A 50-liter foldable container, made of black plastic and available in Autobot and Decepticon colors and insignias. Each one is priced 7150 Yen (about $50 USD) and they will be available exclusively at the upcoming upcoming Transformers Expo 2024 in Tokyo from September 13th to September 29th.
This is the second location of this expo, and they are offering several exclusive Transformers goods for the attendants.
See the images after the jump and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I have a very particular set of skills… Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a great for people like you who are looking for boxes.

Why didn\'t they at least make them so that you can store transformers inside them and compartments for the accessories…

"Well, I'm just saying we could. It's an option." LOL I don't even buy some of the toys I claim to purchase. Really impressed by your comprehensive research tho.
bearytrek
at least these are more on-point than most branded items because they actually transform!
Into a box, but still…

I have my doubts about the container. It reminds me of the times I have moved around a lot and something always gets lost or damaged with transformable boxes (bins like this with two flaps at the top, banker boxes, etc). It’s not so much with stuff being in the box that damages it, it’s that whoever opens it or moves it around don’t realize or care what’s in it..

Oh good, this is where we store all those useless accessories for the MP figures.

I believe this is OEM $43. Collapsible Plastic Storage Crate
$40 on Amazon.
$43 at HomeDepot.
$53 on eBay.
Saving $10+ isn’t really worth painting, waiting, and storing since I don’t have space.
The ones in the X social might be a copy…. And if so, you can find it much more cheaper. If you can get it substantially under $50, it’s worth it if you really want a storage box with transformers branding?
I have found it’s a little difficult to find a blank that looks similar to either below..

At first sight, I wanted it. Then again, I might as well buy a non-logo one and put on the logo myself and save a bunch.

Wouldn't be America if these didn't come in XL size.

How many MP accessories do you have? All of them?
Overcracker
They actually dug up a Convoy No Nazo Famicon game for this. That's just amazing.
The stop motion transformations are off the chain. Very nicely done.

So if they’re only available at the event for $50, then that means they will be $100 or more on eBay.

I want that crate for MP accessory storage. I want that matrix necklace because it’s cute and I don’t have any tf jewelry. Any way to get these outside of Japan?
Cybertronian idiot
Ah yes, the perfect way to celebrate 40 years of giant robots that transform into cars.
