Yeah I’m sure it’s happening. And they will probably be slightly different decos too like the first box set.

somehow, that discussion thread returned

Somehow Pulse and Amazon manage to ship on or before the estimated date for my orders.

If SS86 Starscream is a slight retool of the ER figure, I have little faith any other Seeker won't go that route too.
JasonTFW2005
It's not announced but like with almost everything, Hasbro releasing these as stopgaps to get multiple purchases out of us before the SS86 versions are inevitably done. Legacy Ramjet, Soundwave, Insecticons, Blitzwing, etc. Same for Dramatic Capture Megatron, Shockwave, Astrotrain.
IGEBM
There is none, they’re just speculating about if he’ll get an 86 toy (t even though he just got reissued)
Dushness
When is ss86 ramjet?
Magirus Prime
Thanks.
JasonTFW2005
Surely they'll do a G2 box set. Spreading out a combiner parts over multiple years is ridiculous.
JasonTFW2005
I wonder if I should wait for SS86 Ramjet. Maybe we'll get a three pack with the Coneheads.
Requiem Prime
I'm not sure if they did a G2 Motormaster if I'd bother. I like the vibe that he's assembled a team via Legacy's multiverse shenanigans, and the G2 cars are just him fleshing that team out (especially since he can't scramble)

Sucks you got Covid. Hope you feel better
Lazerwave
So because of my Covid, my boss is not going to count the day I requested as a personal day off for Pulsecon. She's going to take it as a sick day. So she will let me have any personal day I want before the end of the year. With no conventions, I don't know what to take off.

Seems like that last guess is a sure bet when gamestop already discounted the lot of them to retail or even a smidgen below

If the prices raise even more, i might stop collecting. Imstill not to happy paying 31 after tax for a deluxe
fujishig
At least around me, Target has some kind of geographic pricing based on how much they feel they can upcharge a neighborhood, I guess. They've had it for like at least a decade (and it sucks).
Foster
Another reason to buy the first time around I guess – persistent attempts to increase the prices
VictoryBot93
Well I do know that retailers have some leg room when it comes to determining prices. To use a non-TF example; Pokemon TCG Elite Trainer Boxes usually go for $49.99. But I saw at my local Target that they're up at $55. So I think what's happening is that some stores, both in-person & online, are feeling that they don't need to be competitive at the moment with others because they're confident enough that they can sell product at these newer upcharges. Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if some places do this, only to put the same figures on "discount" later but at the lower prices they used to be.
JasonTFW2005
Sucks. Maybe websites just use algorithms to compete with Amazon prices. So long as Pulse keeps price at $35 and $55 I assume that's the standard MSRP for now, although I wouldn't be surprised to see it go up to $37 and $58. I think we'll reach the breaking point in a few years, though, where a lot of these purchases will no longer be impulse buys.
VictoryBot93
Not just them. GameStop & AgesThreeAndUp as well. Heck, AgesThreeAndUp also have Leaders up by a few bucks too.
