Coming to us via T-Hunted on YouTube, who has proved to be a reliable Hot Wheels source in the past, we can share for you images and information about a new Hot Wheels x Transformers Optimus Prime die-cast toy.
We had previously seen a transformable Mattel Creation transformable Hot Wheels Optimus Prime and a non-transformable die-cast Optimus Prime truck and trailer in Hot Wheels Track Fleet line. Now we have images of a die-cast Optimus Prime truck (no trailer apparently) which will be released as part of the Hot Wheels basic line in 2025.
See the images after the jump and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

And, he's back up again!

It’s times like this I wish the Bumblebee in the first Buzzworthy 4-pack was the gold G2 version instead of Slightly Different Hubcap. I’m happy that we got Goldbug in Creatures Collide, but how great would it be if we had G2 Bumblebee as well? At least this way we’ll kind of have one (still waiting for a Generations G2 Bumblebee, Hasbro – don’t mind me).

Sold out again, but at least he was available initially for around 24 hours (if not a bit longer), giving people ample time to try to order one. It's not often something this sought after stays up for that long.

He sold out but now he's back up again.

Very happy to see the gold Bumblebee pop up again, that's the one I really want!
Because Goldbug is way cooler than Bumblebee, always.

Prime is still available to order on Target.com. Got my order in yesterday, so as soon as it arrives I can cancel my pre-order on EE.

I remember when they were $.99 not including tax
PlanckEpoch
Late, but nope. Hot Wheels RLC stuff are a one and done thing. There have been SOME reruns of some popular RLC cars but those are extremely rare and generally don't include fantasy castings like the Optimus.

Basic Hot Wheels range from about $1.18 to about $1.29 plus tax depending on where you buy them at.
Predakwon
Only $1!?
Gah, ok. I definitely paid a lazy tax for buying online
Corpsie
I think it is normal hot wheels price. Around $1
Predakwon
Out of curiosity, how much is the Goldbug or Bumblebee retail?
I know Optimus is like $5.50

Is the transforming prime going to get a restock
PlanckEpoch
You CAN find Bumblebee. Found him twice now. L Case has 2 of them in the case so the chance is higher, even if by a little bit.

Plastic
galvatran
Are those tires plastic or rubber?
DevilGalvatron
Want Speedbreaker / RID Side Burn! But meh if people can\'t even find Bumblebee then I\'m not going to bother getting too excited.
Soundwinder
Yeah, this. This borderline doesn't count as news since it's functionally not real.
Klutchkick
All I need is Hot Rod.
C\'mon Mattel do it!
