they will only be available at "1.5 stores", as those are the only stores that carry the controller brand. You can usually tell the difference between 1.0 and 1.5 stores by looking at the back counter: If the big posters are 3 big squares made of 4 smaller posters each, it's likely a 1.0. If there are a bunch of scattered smaller posters mixed in, it's likely a 1.5. You can also straight up as an employee if the store is a one-dot-five haha

Tried to order these in-store at Gamestop today and they had no idea what I was talking about. Will maybe grab the Devy one if I see it in person
Sideswipe1985
Jazz\'s is the only good one
RePUGnicon
Question for those who know better than me. Is there a way to connect this with a ps4 with some sort of adapter?
Surgicon
Clearly somebody didn\'t get the memo that you can only do things with Optimus, Megatron and Bumblebee. Maaaaybe you can do a Starscream.

These look great and nice to see some of the other characters get some headspace.

I’m sure they were going for a templated look, but feels like a miss/ lack of attention to detail that Devestator doesn’t have the 85 battle scene and Hot Rod doesn’t have 86.
‘hot Rod and Jazz seem like they are working the best to me, where it’s more referential to their designs/decos and less “recreating dimensional elements with flat art” like Soundwave and Devestator. Soundwave looks the jankiest to me.

I wish I was invested enough in gaming to want to drop $50-ish on a new controller when I have a perfectly acceptable one, because that Hot Rod skin is great.
I mean, none of my friends have flames on their controllers. It's a lot to live up to.
Snaku
Neat! Oh wait, Switch? Nm.

BOUGHT BOUGHT BOUGHT BOUGHT!
I'm grabbing Devy and Soundwave the SECOND I see them

Unless if you buy those adapters such as the Mayflash Magic-S Pro, the Brook Wingman series for retro consoles such as the Wingman SNES or the Wingman SD, or the Wingman PS2, etc….
octobotimus
Well for you and me yeah no downside, but again it’s a pretty massive downside for people with Xboxes.
Galvacron 3
I don't see a downside since I mainly play on PC.
octobotimus
Keep in mind these controllers are limited to Nintendo switch and PC only.
So if you play on Xbox or PS, not a great controller to buy.
Johntimus Prime
There's also those sticky "skins", but those can leave a nasty residue behind if you ever peel them off.
Alas, I mainly play my Switch in portable mode and don't use my PC much for gaming.

Price is close enough for me. I will likely grab the Devastator version.
Sideswipe80
Thanks guys!
seawatch
They’re not for the controllers you (probably) already have, don’t worry.
SofosXIII
i haven't tried them but my coworkers and customers have only said good things. The base controller without a faceplate is $35, and the TF kits are $17
Sideswipe80
Ohhhhh okay thanks for clearing that up. Are those controllers any good?
SofosXIII
they are specifically for the GS Candy Con controller, they are made for the faceplate to pop off easily
