I wonder when Hasbro will also release Slipstream retooled from Windblade?
Logos Prime
I doubt so. Unless they have the molds already made (and after fifteen years, the molds may have been destroyed), it would not be worth the risk of wholly producing and releasing two figures wildly out of style with all current sublines just to expand fifteen year old collections.
Functionally speaking, the CAD and rapid prototypes of figures like those are the cheap parts. The expensive part is creating multiple giant metal block molds – think $100k for the steel injection molds.

As long as Hasbro is releasing new figures of Animated characters, do you think there's a chance they'll paint and sell those old Hot Shot and Marauder Megatron molds we saw years ago? It would save them having to design new figures from scratch.

Discussing it here since this is where the GameStop Voy SS BB OP Reissue announcement redirects, I take it the back-in-stock of MP-44S up on Pulse is this week's Optimus reissue?
Chadderbug
Well shit… Guess I'll have to use that cash on something else
Ghost Quartz
And it's also painful to remember that Legacy Chase is also based on a Dodge car (the Dodge Challenger) and is quite a good representation of it.

I know, if they wanted to combine the two designs they should've done it the other way around and made Shadow Striker's robot mode (with some Sideburn detailing on the limbs) with a Viper car mode and it would've been so much better. I would've bought the hell out of that mold.
Thundershot
Amazon doesn’t do case assortments like the stores, so no guarantee they’ll have more Tigerhawks.
PlanckEpoch
Mine just shipped from Pulse a day or two ago!

Curious for those who PO'ed Sandstorm on Amazon: What's the arrival date? Since Tigerhawk is getting repacked with him and I have a $50 gift card with his name on it since I missed the first wave batch, I'd like to know when Sandstorm's going out so I can make sure to nab the Tigerhawk "reissue", since they should both be in stock at the same time
T-Hybrid
Indeed. I'm glad the bot mode looks so good, though. I was also kinda hoping they'd have done the FunPub reference and repaint 86 Hot Rod with a new head.
Mogwell86
Indeed, I've changed my opinion to "wait for sale" because the bot mode is pretty good. Car looks better than Shadow Striker in my eyes but still pretty weak. Hard to beat a Viper alt mode tbh.
AndreyOfDoom
Wow sideburn has zero new tooling for car mode. Looks so bad. Why didn't they just make a viper car and use that as Shadowstriker. Side burn robot mode looks almost perfect but the car is trash. The original wins this round by far….
OverloadedTaco
I think he should be fine, I don't see him selling out tbh because of the bicep issue but we'll see
ReadyParzivalOne
Oh ok
Well that’s good then
Hopefully nothing is wrong with shockwave going up
