For the price, I'm surprised at how lazy these are. If they were basic, no brand clothes sold at basic prices, then just slapping on some of the stock evergreen art is fine.
But for something a little more expensive and an apparent name to put on the label, that laziness does no one any good. It makes the partner look like an overpriced version of whoever makes the branded kids clothes, and the customer just gets large version of the same generic branded kids clothes. If this is being done at any sort of scale, getting some original art done would be better for everyone.
The only winner seems to be Hasbro, who get a quick payday, and hardly need to bother approving the designs if the licensor is just using the provided stock art. Original art might require a Hasbro person to spend more than 5 minutes approving the collection.

Tag Mods. Makes their lives easier.

Yeah. Lol
Besides, I don't think it matters too much about what they do since each aesthetic has its fans. Personally I love the Evergreen designs, as they look familiar yet fresh and the Barricade design is awesome, very TLK-inspired. It's the designs they use as the "public branding" of Transformers. When it comes to merch, EG and G1 seem to be the go-to. Wish they'd get toys specifically based on these, tbh.

…good point.
VVa
So has G1.

Things I want:
#1. A generations deluxe of that Barricade design.
#2. To then otherwise never see the awful “evergreen” designs ever again.

Hasn\'t the evergreen designs been done to death?

The colored prints are as good as what Evergreen designs can be I guess, but I do not like those gray designs. A bot standing/posing in front of the faction symbol is just lazy and looks like a mess from afar.

I'm not sure how much of a hand Steve has in the designs (I'll be honest, I think of him as a musician so I'm not expecting him to be that involved), but yeah, a quick check of the website and there's at least SOME signs of life in most of the other collections, though I'm sorry to say, they still come off to me as pretty mundane hot-topic-product for the most part (which hey, if that's what sells, I can't fault, the Dim Mak designs are still better than a lot of offerings elsewhere). Interesting that they made sukajan jackets for other properties, but I guess the license for transformers on those is elsewhere.

usually steve is more creative than this

Feels like we're getting a lot of clothing capsules as of late…
No offense to the death touch t-shirt council but none of these designs are really doing anything for me. Its nice to see Barricade I guess. I thought one of the grey images was Prowl instead of Bumblebee which I guess shows you how much I care about the evergreen designs.

Evergreen designs just make me think "cheap"

Myself and Syndicator posted separate threads about this weeks ago but no one replied

You really like barricade and I do too it’s just that if he is another redo of the prowl mold I am building a bridge

UNCLE BARRY SWEEP!

Certainly an uninspired collection. The 40th stuff revealed the other day is 40 times nicer and I'm sure cheaper.
Bizarre collaboration.
Pteraxadon
Barricade is a odd but welcome choice

These are sad I would of tough Steve would of gotten proper artist not this
VVa
Let's fucking go, Barricade's becoming a regular for merch.

Everyone’s favourite* cake throwing madman/DJ Steve Aoki has mashed his label Dim Mak Records up with our favourite Robots in Disguise. It seems to mostly be Evergreen art with some funky effects and logos chucked onto shirts, but if you’ve ever wanted that cool Barricade design on a shirt, here’s your chance!
