Optimus Prime is the noble leader of the heroic Autobots. He believes freedom is the right of all sentient beings. He carries the Matrix of Leadership, an ancient and powerful artifact that gives him upgraded abilities and knowledge of all Cybertronian history. He is beloved for his compassionate nature, steadfast leadership, and heroic feats in battle.
MEGATRON
Megatron was the merciless leader of the evil Decepticons and one of the most feared and powerful warriors to ever emerge from Cybertron. The whole line is already whack because everyone does 6" and he's doing 7" for….reasons?
PlanckEpoch
I got the Wonder Woman and it was like pulling teeth. Hard to find, likely low production numbers, sold out everywhere, scalper bait. I lucked out seeing her at GameStop and I picked her up.
But at least he's doing Punchline even if she has to be in a 2 pack with Joker…
John Titor
She’d be out of scale anyway, as tall as Batman and Joket, which is another major issue with this line
T-Hybrid
He also doesn't make many female characters. Like, it's Wonder Woman and maybe a Catwoman every now and then but he's been doing DC for years without a comics Harley.
Lotta Jokers though. LOOOOOTTA Jokers.
Shin Densetsu
Nah it’s Todd man he lets this shit happen all the time it’s common with his lines.
Used to be a joke that his team goes for whatever design shows up 1st in Google images and it stopped sounding like a joke when a lot of the toys literally resemble the 1st image results that show up in Google images.

Are these the page punchers Hasbro was alluding to with their cryptic teaser?
artiepants
That is very strange that the figures aren’t even aesthetically compatible with the one they are packed with.
Pretty G1 Prime and BB WFC/FOC Wheeljack/OTT IDW Megatron…
(I know Prime is supposed to be IDW too, but he;s much simpler and more G1 then Megs)

I found these today at my local Gamestop in Latham, New York

i\'ll be buying these, but i\'ll be whining about them being 3\" tall instead of 3.75\" like Action Masters (i already whine about the 3\" DC Super Heroes McFarlane makes)
WishfulThinking
If doubling my quote makes someone a happy camper, then more power to them.
I've personally moved past investing in novelty items for Transformers. That money can be better spent on Diaclone, Super Sentai mechs or Heroquest expansions.
Q Prime
2 pieces of plastic, and 2 included books, both of which I’m sure are more than 15 pages.
HereticalHeresy
Just want to give a reminder that "sold out on Pulse" isn't much a metrics for success. If Pulse put up 100 units, they sold out, but if they normally sell 1,000 units of something else, then selling out doesn't mean it's the same as when other items sell out. Mcfarlane is a much smaller company than Hasbro, and it would stand to reason that there are far fewer units in circulation.
That's not to say it isn't a success, but just be careful of the "It's sold out on Pulse therefore it's a success" logic pitfall in general.
Neko-bot77
Definitely a good call by marketing to reveal these a few days before the comic versions of Grimlock and Shockwave.
WishfulThinking
It's a 3 inch piece of plastic and a 15 page booklet that takes away your money from your wallet or bank account.
Lunatic Prime
What is/does a "page puncher"?
Ganon2099
Logic doesn't work on TFW2005….. every piece of merchandise must be what that member wants or its terrible

Why are people getting so worked up about these? They are a low cost item. There's also obviously a market for them, as both Transformers packs are sold out on Pulse. And yes, kids enjoy playing with small action figures and reading comics. For adults they would make an okay display piece in a collection. The comics come with a stand, so a major selling point is display.
Boople Barp
I think the fairest answer to that is "rarely". Mostly kids whose parents like comics. Very few kids actually read physical media at all. If they like comics, they are probably reading webcomics.
