Of course, the guy who has a video review decides to compare it only with other unreleased toys and Cybertronian bots. I can really use an idea on how big that vehicle is because this guy is so far looking like all I ever wanted from Soundwave (sans tape deck, but I can just pretend.) He might match super well with my road based Decepticons. Any point of reference that can be used for his vehicle in comparison to ER Optimus and ER Prowl?

I'm not sure why the designers are consistently opting for hood chest, when you could use the windshield and maybe a faux windshield chest in bot mode. I think it just looks okay. Great in car mode though.

Looks good enough for what it is. No interest in this as Soundwave, but I'd love to see some kind of retool in the future. The 'cassette-deck' hood looks replaceable enough with a hood piece that looks more like an actual hood to make a retool stand out as different.
But yeah, he definitely looks better than initial photos made him appear. still backpack-heavy and spindly legs, but it certainly isn't the worst I've ever seen.

Honestly, while I like the idea that his minions store in his chest, I don't really care for cassettes. Therefore, this guy is kinda perfect for me

I think they could have made the rear bumper sit a bit lower which would have helped close the bit of gap in his back, but other than that, he's pretty solid.
No cassette deck is a bit of a let down, tho.
