The DNA Design upgrade kit for VS also comes with chrome stickers for the chest pieces as well!

As a Gundam fan, I cannot deny the love for big ass beam guns and the Living Metal Destroyer Cannon satisfies this need.

Lol The Gattai is SO much more fiddly than anything Hasbro and Takara have put out. And more fragile feeling and more limited articulation… They're fun toys still, but it's definitely a comparison I think Transformers wins by a lot.

Haslab/MMC
Botmode

MMC's so dark, it's like Christian Bale Batman vs Haslab's Keaton. Amusingly MMC has bigger hands in both modes and slightly better articulation, and the 3 part wing is still a nice update to the OG design. Still thinks MMC dropped the ball on having no chrome for Tiger chest, tiger bow mode, and having the wrong sword for this version.
Altmode

I kept the haslab's elbow uncollapsed in alt mode simply because of the added articulation and it just looks better for the chicken leg. Tiger chest annoyingly likes to pop off in alt mode because the grip on the sides isn't strong enough, and I can't raise DZ's wings any higher because it'll push tiger chest out of the cavity.

yeah they also have chrome stickers for the eyes which make them look way better IMO and they gave victory leo golden abs lol

My Pulse Account didn't update until days after I got sent the confirmation E-mail for Victory Saber. And I got the confirmation Email 3 Days after Victory Saber arrived. For some of us, for some reason Pulse just sucks at actually updating stuff.

I think I need to stop checking this thread until my Deathsaurus arrives. It's making me irrationally nervous.

Same boat here. Hasbro Pulse says it's been fulfilled, but still no progress on FedEx. Guess we'll just have to wait and see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Interesting. God I wish mine were stuck in Illinois, 'cuz that would mean it'd need at most 2 days shipping before it would arrive, as opposed to 5-7 (or, god forbid, even more) days from Cali -_-
Scubamatics25
Really???? I was unaware that they did that, I may have to get that

My only real complaint was the limited outward shoulders.
I feel like the transformation would have allowed for an outward hinge where those stacks of his upper arms meet the body.
But after trying one of the 3D-printed kits, I have to say I’ve come to accept Saber’s hollow arms. The replacements were basically impossible to fit into the V-Star and I even noticed flexing in the plastic. I’ve since switched back to the originals.

PSA for peeps with damaged chrome, toyhax put out a sticker set with stickers to cover those parts. I understand if you don't want them/think it shouldn't be necessary (I agree), but it is an option

Honeslty the MP version is pretty awesome but it lacked quite a bit since there was no Victory Leo made for it although it had the attachments for a possible MP-Victory Leo. I love my Haslab Victory Saber but my only gripe is the chrome on Star Saber and Victory Leo's chest it scratches a little too easily and I really hope that isn't the case for Deathsaurus.

Still no shipping email, still "in progress" on Pulse. But whatever, I'll just keep building gundams until he gets here to keep me occupied. I didn't even get my shipping email for VS until like a week after he arrived, so I feel like it's going to be the same thing again.

I don’t have the mp but I’d still give the edge to HasLab if only for the greebling and Saber jet mode lol. Star Saber is one of the most banging designs in the whole franchise, though, so it’s hard to go wrong. I still wanna nab the robot masters version at one point or another.
Scubamatics25
I agree I love Star Sabers design, I have both the Haslab version and the Masterpiece Version and love them both, but definitely need my DS to make it more awesome hahah

Victory Saber is one of, if not actually just, my favourite figures I own. So wonderful and great. No complaints for me, aside from qc which meh. Not too bad for me.

To each their own, but I knew from the start we're not gonna get something like Chogokin/DX Chogokin or anything super premium with the price. Personally, I feel like I got exactly what I paid for. Likewise, people want to say that a few or a small proportion of QC issues is a widespread QC pandemic when…it wasn't. I have no issues aside from the sword connection which is a tolerance and design thing. I stayed quiet as I didn't need to talk endlessly about nitpicks about my Victory Saber.
For a modern retail styled Victory Saber, the figure is absolutely fantastic and what I paid for.
Also Moderoid is kind of incomparable. It'd be like me comparing Master Grade Gundams to Transformers. It's apples and oranges.
And if I may fanboy for a moment, lol, I'd rather take Bandai's Infinitism Super Robo vs. Moderoid stuff. Moderoid is good stuff but like a lot of mecha plamo makers, have a long way to go compared to Bandai.
As far as The Gattai…I'll reserve judgement. GSC is pretty good but if the drop of quality of Figma in the years going by, price hikes and the lack of stuff is any indication, then I'm always wary of spending big money on GSC stuff when the quality could be lower than what I expect. Especially since I know from experience I can't play with Japanese mecha the same way I do with Transformers.

Same here, although I received my VS Dec 12th last year so they got 4 days to beat last year! lol

1) Absymal proportions (I thought I’d get over it when I got it in hand but it’s just so… MP10 squatish for no reason), and it gets worse when you compare to modern super robot toys in the market atm like Moderoid The Gettai stuff
2) Weird tolerances where the left antenna is mad loose
3) Chrome scratched out of the box and for SS’s chest it gets worse because you have to cram it into the main jet body
4) The hollowness is pretty egregious like the cannons and the forearms V Star. Again, I thought I would get over it but the more I looked at contemporaries and hell, Deathsaurus the more cheap it came off
Abysmal packaging (from what I’ve heard the shells that were meant to protect the chrome were cut due to cost and all of the pretentious fancy display is useless the moment you cut the ties. What’s the point then outside of display (by that I mean people who open the box but not take the toys out collectors)?
Overall it just felt like a normal commander and leader with chrome strapped on (and a bonus stand and 2 micromaster repaints) hostaged as a Kickstarter with some really subpar QC for Hasbro standards thrown and it just simply doesn’t hold a candle to other stuff on the market that runs for a similar price.

wouldn't worry. Just go by whatever FedEx is telling you. Pulse shipping emails are very inaccurate at times. Probably half the time I order something from Pulse the "it just shipped email" arrives after I have gotten the item. With Armada Prime it sent that to me a month after I got the figure from them, and I thought I accidentally ordered two of them.
