New York Comic Con 2023 is under way up in NYC. Not much was present at the show Transformers wise, though there is a Skybound Comics panel coming up on Saturday. Robosen was in attendance on the show floor and had out their line up of auto transforming and robotics based Transformers figures. Of note was the final production level paint for Rise of the Beasts Optimus Prime, and a copy of the extremely limited “Lucky Draw” Golden Elite Optimus Prime. Read on to check out some shots from the booth! Make sure to check out all they have for sale right now over on the Official Robosen Store here (#ad), and at our sponsors below!

Fragile electronics? I've played a lot with my Prime, and it works like a clock. For the moment being, at least
I agree on the paint department. Knuckles and feet scratch the floor a lot, so there would be huge golden flaking.

Looks like it's already available: Robosen AI Base
I'm disappointed with the price, but not surprised.

Vac-metalizing and fragile, highly advanced electronics = great combination!
Decagon
Could apply this to almost every Lucky Draw figure

I don't have Robosen OP, but from what I've heard about potential scuffing/scraping on the hands and legs…you would never, ever transform Lucky Draw Robosen Optimus and thus he'd make a very lovely, shiny brick

Yeah, it's just Robosen making an animatronic toy. It could perfectly have been a Mickey Mouse or a Hello Kitty.

so when is that base for the Robosen transformers going to come out and how much?

I\'m not even saying this as a jab at robosen, subconsciously I genuinely recall them canceling the buzz figure. Never questioned my made up event since it made so much sense lol. I know it costs so much to develop, it\'s gotta suck to be in the position they are now after the performance of the film. On the other hand, I think reskinning this to be the original Toy Story version would likely do wonders.

No in-universe canon reason, then? Afaik he’s just a dude in a spacesuit in the movie.
Tanafor
Because Robosen made a Buzz programmable robot. Just like any of their other non-transforming robots. This one has a human outer layer.

Hmm, no titan teaser at NYCC this year, shame.

And why is it the mid version from the movie no one watched as opposed to Toy Story Buzz
Pteraxadon
Why is there buzz lightyear?

Was at NYCC yesterday. The Robosen booth was awesome to check out. Grimlock especially.
"Lucky Draw Prime" looks pretty bad in real life/up close. Looks like someone took the normal figure and sprayed it gold with a Krylon can. If I won (didnt enter the raffle, as it was $20 per ticket) Id be asking if I could just get a normal one.

There is no evidence, that I have found, on the entire internet to support the fact that any of those gold Optimus Primes were ever given away. Not a single photo, video, or post about it outside their official announcements and promotions. I just find that really interesting.

“Robinson”
galvatran
Original scale or smaller version that came later?
Novaburnhilde
Dang.
That's pretty gangsta.
SPLIT LIP
It’s the auto-transforming RC Optimus from Robosen.
